I was by the ocean again, in a similar state of undress.

Soft breeze was licking my skin, making me shiver.

The pale sand was still bright, yet not as white as the shine of the crescent moon, now fuller than the last time.

I noticed the waves were rough today, threatening to spill over me, as I stood still watching. The darkness wasn't heavy, but more comfortable for me, as if singing me a hymn.

Feeling braver, I looked around, searching for him, the owner of that musky masculine scent, the one who didn't hesitate to own me. Alas, I couldn't find him.

So saddened with this, I sat down on the sand, feeling nothing but alone and in need of those hands.

"Where are you?" I questioned, but who was to answer me, so I let it be.

I waited for this dream to end, knowing I was trapped in some web. Till long and far as I could see, there was not a single soul with whom I could grieve. "Save me," I said, not aware of why I led, knowing this wasn't healthy, for he would not always be there.

Remembering the reality, I barely chuckled, though not for long, as I soon saw the silver hair, padding along the coast softly, his skin glowing with a forbidden flare.

He was far, yes, but he wasn't unreachable, so I hurried up to stand, and ran after him, the sand not slowing me down any.

But before I could reach, I lost him in a haze, which snapped me out of my daze.

--

I woke up with heavy breathing, as if I had just ran a marathon.

And next to me sat a blond guy, looking worried, his hands on my torso as if he was shaking me.

"You good?" he asked me, his voice coarse like sand yet smoothed with worry. However, that was the least of it, since I felt a warm sensation rushing though my skin. A strong warmth I always feared. And no I wasn't high, or flustered, I was showing symptoms of my heat.

I quickly sat up, wide awake now, getting away from the blond cellmate who looked startled by my sudden activity.

"...you smell stronger." He mumbled, his eyes wide as he stared at me, alarm clearly written on his face.

I laughed bitterly, "Just preparing for my master beforehand."

"They don't know yet."

"They will then." They will know I am an omega, I couldn't hide it.

A silence followed us as he sat back in another corner, making me wonder if he was affected by my scent too. And as if reading me, he replied assuredly, "I am already mated, the scent won't drive me crazy, but I have to say... it is damn strong."

I nodded, I knew that, from years of experience, yet never knowing why I always gave off such strong scent, it was strange even for an omega.

Time passed and we both heard footsteps.

I was not one for panicking, but I felt a dread wash over me as I sat contemplating what I should do next, how to hide.

A small sound from my left garnered my attention and I saw the blond guy gesturing for me to stay calm. His eyes assuring me that he would help me out somehow.

I felt safe when he announced that silently, as we waited for our doom to come, but I knew he couldn't do much for me, he was in a worse state than me. All dirty, hollowed out and skinny.
