Jimin's P.O.V.

The number of times he came, my precious Jungkookie.
I snickered, it was a very pleasurable night. But now we had work to do.
Jungkook was already half way through lower lands, and he was being accompanied by Taemin and Taehyung. Both of them had sworn to me that they would protect Jungkook with their life if necessary, but I also knew that Jungkook was practically invincible now.
I grinned at the empty throne hall, the walls devoid of any conspiracy. They had been certainly more inviting since the last meeting, I was pleased to note that the rumors of my strength had started to make people weary of me, finally. I perhaps had a dislike towards their ignorance, now they would finally understand what they were dealing with. Ruling by fear was not my solid choice, but if that would cause them to behave, especially the old immortals, then who was I to disparage the on goings.
The connection between me and Jungkook was not as strong as it had been previously, it certainly was more misty. And I was well on my way towards frustration, really not liking the distance between us.
Before I could do anything though, I had to wait for my turn, all the moves had already been pre-determined. Only the waiting remained.

Taehyung's P.O.V.
Jungkook was sitting next to me as we rode the illegal boat, which was about to cross the town's gateway, and by the looks of it, the whole thing was dull and boring, not at all pleasant to the eyes. One had to wonder how people could live here, because without a smile, one wasn't considered living. Not in my dictionary. Happiness was a necessity.
I sighed, watching the silence of the night and hearing the utter darkness surrounding us.
Seira was actually a base, a model for an experimentorium run by the messengers. The townfolk was nothing but some labor and they were treated as such.
I shifted the ragged robe closer to my body, the rough clothing rubbing against my skin frustratingly. I already felt the need to run back in the safe arms of Hobi, but that was just my fear talking, I wasn't really afraid of anything, but it had been long since I traveled anywhere alone. Jungkook was there but he was my responsibility, and Taemin... he wasn't someone I was comfortable around.
"We are entering through the back gate, the messengers would know if we act weird, so please just leave everything to me."
I nodded towards Taemin, he had planned everything with much consideration, it would be foolish to get ahead of myself now.
We had roles to play, I was a mute, Jungkook was blind, and Taemin was our caretaker. We were basically returning from our trip to our hometown in a long while.
Taemin's underground pupils were somewhere inside the town, so all we had to do was not blow our cover and mingle alongside everyone else with the pupil's help. We had a few inside information on the workings, which was rather a positive news for us. It would help with maintaining out facade.
