Jungkook's P.O.V.

I couldn't watch Halsey falling down the cliff, her stomach full of stab wounds and her eyes closed in a grimace, with utter pain.

All it had taken was for her to step outside the circle in hopes of distracting the messengers that had their eyes on us. She said that a distraction might help with giving us a chance to escape.

But both her and us had miscalculated just how powerful the messengers were together, they all ambushed her, beat her up, stabbed her and threw her around as if she was a rag doll until she finally succumbed to her injuries, lasting not even a second out there.

It had only taken them a few seconds to destroy her, a woman who was part of the KIng's court.

I watched in horror as Halsey fell down the cliff, down in the pit filled with dangerous waters. But I couldn't move, even if my mind wanted to lunge after her to save her. While Aoki maintained his posture, keeping the shield up, his jaws tight with tension.

"...no." I felt so helpless, noticing the grins on all those white robed men, the messengers were so gleeful, almost mocking us.

I couldn't see Charlie anywhere, but I knew he was somewhere around, what was he up to anyway.

"Jungkook," Aoki started, "don't ponder much on what happened, if luck has it she will survive, she grew up in these hills, she is a mountain girl, a warrior, you should focus on what we can do now."

He was being logical, but I could see his eyes were glimmering with anger and loss.

We hadn't even moved an inch from our position, Halsey's defeat had been that quick. The flattering number of enemies were too tough to take on alone.

"What can we do then," I asked, my voice quivering, I was mad, and sad, both at the same time, feeling the impact that hit us hard. My heat taking on a new level of pain, as I started to squirm with restlessness and emptiness.

"Try contacting Prince Jimin," Aoki suggested, "until then I will keep this shield up."

"But how," I questioned anxiously, "If Jin hyung couldn't then how could I?"

"You are the prophesy child, your bond with prince Jimin is kinda... special."

I flinched when a messenger attacked the shield with his dagger, a clearly old artifact with ivory white sheath and intricacies.

I noticed the shield dome Aoki had projected crack a little under impact. "Hurry Jungkook, we don't have time."

"Okay, okay," I tried to calm myself down, searching for inner strength. My heat always made me a timid shy boy, or the wanton one depending on the situation, my heart became vulnerable and it was bad during times like these. So I tried ignoring the weaker part of myself, the one who was scared for life and the others, I tried concentrating on the better half of me, that confident one who slaughtered enemies like a lethal bomb.

I took a deep breath and held on to my consciousness, my mind going blank for a while.

"Jimin?" I whispered in the air, my eyes closing, my mind turning a deaf ear to the oncoming attacks of the messengers, who were pressing harder to break down the shield around us that Aoki was keeping intact.

I got no response.

"Jimin?" I called again, hoping for some miracle to happen, but all I got in response was nothing.

"Jimin..." still no response.

Jin hyung groaned, his breathing becoming distant.

"Jimin, if you are there somewhere, please hurry and save us, I never really thought I would stoop to begging for help, wishing your presence, but Jin hyung's life," I remembered Halsey and Aoki, "my friend's lives, they all are important to me, if you hear me... then please... come here fast..." I blushed even within the current circumstances, "I need you."
