Jimin's P.O.V.
I stared through the glass in my hand, observing the golden liquid swirling around smoothly. I hadn't woken up long ago, but my mind already felt tired, what with maintaining the mind connection with Jungkook. I knew where he was, but I was waiting for the right time.
Jin didn't want to be disturbed with whatever grand plan he had, so I wasn't one to barge in.
The clouds around the castle remained persistent as did my dismay on not having my mate with me, although who was I to indulge in grief, I had rendered my body useless myself, even with all the healing I couldn't come back to my full potential like before. The prolonging of waiting period before mating did take its toll on me.
I was tired of waiting.
Snap. I heard something break.
"Prince Jimin, ya will hurt yerself if ya keep breaking glasses." Tae voiced his opinion irritably, having called maids thrice already. "If I didn't know any better, I would have thought ya hate glasses or that wine itself."
"This isn't wine Tae," I mumbled, watching as the broken glass pierced my skin, drawing blood.
"How would I know what is wine and what isn't, yer not helping any. Nor ma poor status in here."
I grimaced, "Your status isn't poor Tae, you are part of my troop, part of Namjoon's pack."
Tae walked towards me, keeping down his book and pen, drifting easily next to my table, "We both know I am not revered to. You know that Prince Jimin," he told me seriously, his accent losing itself. "I am loyal to you for that reason alone, knowing you are just with me, despite my history and image in society."
"Yes," I nodded, wiping the tip of my fingers, smudging the thick blood in process.
"Then for me stop moping around, you look like a pouting child."
I snorted at his scolding, knowing he was the only one who was this close to me to not fear me. Well he did, but he didn't cower. Even Namjoon stayed back, knowing his place.
"I want Jungkook." I said, getting up from my couch laid with golden traces of lace. "I can't wait any longer Tae."
Tae nodded, "Understandable, without him around you, it must hurt."
"I try making contact through his dreams, but it still isn't enough. For that dream me is just a fragment of me, not the real me."
(A/N- shadow clone jutsu! lmao what am I saying shiojdihef, ignore me)
"Then go and get him back, you know you can, even Jin hyung must know you can."
"But I can't, Jin isn't ready with Jungkook yet. The training is still going on, the bond needs to strengthen, his body needs to become strong enough to withhold my powers. Or else the mating would fail."
Tae sighed, "Do you really care about the failure of mating that much?"
I shook my head, I didn't. "No, but I also know that if it fails the immortals would create problems."
"Then make them step back, you are our Prince, you can't show weakness now."
"And what if the immortal that would go against me and Jungkook is my own father?"
Tae stilled. "I had thought the King was with you, not caring if Jungkook was from lower lands, he is your mate, mates can be universe apart but still, the bond remains pure and fated."
"Only my brother is fully supporting me, my mother and father were reluctant to let me go, they never shared my sentiments. They support me, but knowing them... I am sure their view on a mate from lower land isn't as positive. They only stay shut because he happens to be the prophesy child."
