Namjoon's P.O.V.

The castle was under attack, just as Prince Jimin had predicted, but the immortals were all ready, having been warned previously.

I only hoped the prince has reached on time, due to some unknown spell, all connections were severed and troops were running blind, the whole system was blind.

I did not like it, but I had no choice with me.

Prince Jihyun was by my side, fighting off some messengers dressed in white, his claws fierce as he sliced and diced the enemies with all his might.

I ignored the pain in my chest, something didn't feel right, something was wrong... however there was no time to dwell on it, I had to protect the castle and handle the troops, even the immortals were keeping to themselves not getting involved with me. It was as if everyone had a common goal for now, and I was relieved to know it.

"J-Hope, take one of them hostage, make sure it doesn't kills itself."

Hobi looked at me, yet did not obey, his scarlet red hair as ferocious as his eyes. His stance defensive but his claws attacking whatever there was in sight. I could see the inklings of flames on his palms, knowing he was going to use his element soon.

"Do not engage in battle right now J-Hope, I expect you to take a hostage. Tag along with V if necessary."

Hobi snorted, clearly not happy with my decision, he was a fighter through and through, forcing him to drag along a hostage in mid didn't sit well with him. He didn't favor babysitting, which was of utmost importance right now.

"J-Hope," I growled out, turning to seriously look at the beta.

Hobi whimpered, not expecting me to use my Alpha voice on him, but he nodded in understanding, finally. "I-I will take the hostage, but this battle here..."

"The immortals are fighting," I clarified, just noticing the insane amount of immortals throwing and hitting the enemy force as if they were potato sacks. I knew we had an upper hand at the moment. "I only hope the prince is safe and the troops reach in time... so maybe not on time but clearly, they could do something. I have a very bad feeling about this, I still cannot connect with Seokjin still."

"I will be leaving with V then, take care around here, I am sure even inside the castle walls it isn't safe."

"Where is V anyway." I dodged when some red eyed alpha suddenly barreled his way through the crowd, clawing away at the people, not caring if some were his own.

"Last I saw he was above the terrace, some enemies tried attacking from there as well."

I nodded at him stiffly, while also twisting the neck of the alpha in front of me, my speed startling even the prince, who was very aware of every movement around him.

"If I had known they would use Ikran for air attack," the prince started, "I would have paid attention to all that noise coming previously."

Yes, I was also sure that the Ikrans were forced to cooperate for these menaces, it was unusual for the mammals to be this submissive, then again, we were talking about the messengers, a race of their own. Their experiments were finally paying off.

None of them looked like omegas, but rather a new alpha hybrid we hadn't been aware of before.

No wonder their source of power had been from Prince Jimin, because if not for him, I was sure their experiments wouldn't have bore fruits.

I growled with annoyance, clawing down a force of small betas and werewolves, all of them growling, teeth jutting out, eyes bleary red and spit dribbling down their chins.
