It was curious, how the color of the fire had turned green, which according to Namjoon hyung had healing properties.
It had been a week, an entire one week, after which Hobi hyung had found us both, me and Jimin, slumbering in some den near the valleys. Everyone had gotten worried when we didn't return, they had been searching for us, and it was chaos in the castle. Jimin's father, the king had a lot of trouble in keeping calm, the subjects had started asking questions out of fear.
Going up on the sacred ground was restricted and many believed we had already traveled down to somewhere in the higher lands. So a search was indeed necessary.
In the end we were okay, but the shock wave from that damaged crystal had taken out a lot of our strength, rendering us both unconscious, yet Jimin said he had done a last second survival trick and teleported us away from there.
So it resulted into a week's worth of slumber, a natural reaction. The whole mating ritual really took out a lot.
Speaking of, Jimin's father had retired from his throne, giving it to him, so Jimin was now the ruler and also True Alpha, but even then the gifts from the people around the higher lands hadn't stopped coming, everyone was enjoying the new sense of hope. And they were showering us with the most precious of things, like a beta male from a rich noble family had decided to gift us a set of cottages, build with the rarest of metals and materials. It was nice, how everyone was ecstatic for us.
The crowning was to take place tomorrow, but Jimin had refused, stating that he had some plans he would be discussing with the council first, and it was decided that the meeting would happen today evening, just after sunset.
My mind had been in a stuck stage, for I hadn't much talked to anyone. I knew the messengers had been active down on the lower lands, but they had yet to make any drastic move.
Also, the biggest surprise was Jin hyung's recovery, and the said hyung had been going on and on about how hurt he was that he couldn't be there for the ceremony, he even scolded me for getting hasty and not waiting for him to come around first.
I had yet to converse more, but Namjoon hyung had seen my dazed state, which was strange, for Jimin was just the opposite of me, all hyper and cheerful.
From what I could remember, Jimin said something about my body still managing the changes, since he was now a true alpha and me being his mate must come with some drastic consequences. I didn't feel any different though, just a bit sleepy and less myself. It could be the long slumber, since no normal hybrid could survive that for that long, Jimin's powers within me must have protected me.
Whatever the case was, today was the first active day for me after our ritual and I was looking forward to spending time with Jimin as his official partner.
