Being a part of the diva's was the best thing to ever happened to me.

My first club session was going on and although half of the things they talked about made absolutely no sense, it was still interesting because it's where I want to be.

"And Dorcas, last week you bought nine burgers when I specifically asked for ten!" Tabitha shrieked, stomping her feet from not getting her way.

"I did! I brought ten, Basma ate one of them, but it wasn't my fault." Dorcas protested, making Tabitha to turn and glare at Basma.

"You eat too much Basma, that's not what diva's do, we eat on schedule, breakfast by ten, lunch by two and dinner by six, after that we only drink lime water, I mean we have been through this already! What's the point of me being a leader when you.." I blocked them out not wanting to Tabitha complains.

The diva's have a long set of rules, our uniforms consisted of black skirts that stops at our thighs with a black panty hose and plain milk color tops with any tie. The diva's rule is wear red ties on Mondays, blue ties on Tuesday, green ties on Wednesday, pink ties on Thursday and Friday we wear our sportswear.

"And that's how a diva should behave, I'm I clear?" Tabitha finally concluded.

"Yes Tabitha!" We chorused.

" Next session will be on how you talk to a boy, I will bring a guy here and all of you will talk to him..."

Well being in the diva's club won't teach me anything but at least I will be one of the popular girls in school and that is the beginning of me achieving my goals.

Ding Dong

My techno phone rings, making Tabitha and the diva's to turn and look at me, none of the diva's uses Android, they all used iPhones. Tabitha with an iPhone 7s, Dorcas and Seyi with an iPhone 6 and Basma with iPhone 6s. So me using an Android makes me an outcast.

"You're using techno? I thought that phone was outdated ages ago." Dorcas sneered, she doesn't like ms and I don't even know why.

"Yeah well, the thing is that ..umm... I can't afford an iPhone" I stammered, sometimes I felt embarrassed that I came from a poor family.

"Yeah well, can't your boyfriend buy it for you? I mean Dorcas and Seyi it was their boyfriends that brought it for them." Tabitha question and I looked down not knowing how to tell her that I have no boyfriend.

" I don't have a boyfriend." I answered quietly, the diva's all shared a look.

" You have to get a boyfriend, anyone from this school and one sugar daddy." Seyi adviced, I bulged my eyes out.

"Sugar daddy?" I asked surprised, I knew the diva's were not good kids at all but what I didn't know was the extent of it.

"Yes sugar daddy, we all have one, well except Tabitha, she have like three." Basma answered this time around.

I looked at them waiting for them to laugh and tell me they were joking but none of them did.

"Wow, i... Wow, I don't know if I can do that and even if I can, where will I even find one?" I stammered, unable to comprehend what's been said.

I just imagined my mother's reaction, but then I remembered the saying, ' what you don't know won't kill you'.

"Well you have to get a sugar daddy and let him buy you an iPhone and any other things you might need in the future." Tabitha informed, but then she paused " Unless you don't want to be part of the diva's."

"No, no, I do, but Tabitha, where will I get a sugar daddy from?" I asked panicked, going out from the diva's will be the end of me.

"Don't worry, dress up on Saturday, we're all going somewhere." Tabitha announced making the other diva's to smile, but I couldn't because I knew I had Islamic school on Saturday starting from 7am to 6pm.

"I can't attend, I have Islamic school!" I protested, dad will kill me if he found out that I missed islamiyya.

"Oh honey you have to, besides you're the key factor in the outing." Dorcas injected, glaring at me with a smirk on her lips.

"Why, where are we going to?" I questioned, shivering from the cold looks I received from Dorcas.

"To get you a sugar daddy." Basma said, and they all burst out laughing, and all I could think of was how to get away from going to islamiyya.
