Tabitha decided to take us out. Me and Basma though, not Surhail. She mentioned it was a birthday gift for me so we followed her. We went to dunes and then made our way to her house. Their was a little party going on but it was just the divas present. Their was small chops, doughnuts and even shawarma. And she planned it all for me.
Of course Tabitha's birthday won't just be that innocent, they were a loot of alcoholic drinks there too. She brought a lot, apparently almost all the divas took Alcohol, including Basma. It was shocking, I thought with how religious she was and how she portrayed herself and not partake in sex, she wouldn't take alcohol but it seems like no matter how perfect someone is, there's still some flaws.
I had never tasted alcohol, never, since when Tabitha offered it to me, I didn't know what to do, the first taste was the worst, it was hot on my tongue kind of like fire been poured down my throat. My mind buzzed, my eyes blurred but there was a thrill in me. I felt the fire swimming in my veins.
"Wow!" I exclaimed, Basma looked at me with some sort of sad eyes, like she didn't want me to take it, but who was she to judge? She was doing the same damn thing. With a shrug I looked away from her.
In a few minutes, I was wasted and laughing like a maniac. I couldn't place my head on what was going on around me or what I was even doing, my head was numb but I was in this euphoric world.
I could hear conversation around me.
"I can't take her home like this! Her parents will freak out!" Take who home? The voice sounded like Basma but what did I know."Okay just leave her here, she will go home tomorrow when she feels better." I guess that was Tabitha. I wanted to scream out i can't sleep out but I didn't have the strength to open my mouth, in my head I was screaming but in reality I was not even saying a word.
"What? Her parents know I left with her, what I'm I suppose to tell them?” Basma yelled again. At this point my eyes were closing, I was pretty sure that droll was coming out from my mouth.
"Just tell them, she's sleeping at your house, I mean its not the first time she would be sleeping at your house."
"I know that, but the usually ask my mom, not me."
"Relax, it will be fine." That was the last thing I heard before my eyes dropped.
* * * * *
"Wake up! Your parents found out you were not in basma's house."
Oh shit!My eyes opened immediately. "W..wh..what? How?" My head was pounding and I was dizzy, damn Alcohol is no fun at all.
"They called her mom and the mom mentioned you were not at home." Tabitha announced, and she still looked like she didn't care, it was like she was delivering a speech.
I'm dead, what would be my excuse?
"Wh..where is my phone?"
I looked around, I was in a room, but not Tabitha's room."Behind you."
I looked at the nightstand and there it was. Shit! It was dead. IPhone I groaned.
They might have been calling and it was not going through.
"What did Basma said?"
"She said you were here."
Oh shit!
My parents don't like Tabitha, first reason. She always wears short things.I hurriedly dressed up and left the house in a hurry. I was going to get it, I knew that.
