The next day, I dressed up to go to school, keeping in mind that a hundred thousand was in my backpack.

After bidding my mom goodbye, I proceeded to the junction a few streets away from my house, I stopped a Keke napep to take me school.

"How much to Pic?" I asked him.

"Two hundred naira, drop. " He replied.

It's fifty naira per person to PIC but two hundred to board the whole car.

Feeling extra rich I entered without bargaining, which I was pretty sure that if I did, he would have reduced the money to a hundred and fifty naira.

Within ten minutes, we were outside the gates of PIC, I came down, opened my bag and pulled out a thousand naira note.

I still had the two hundred naira my mom gave me to come to school, but I wanted to brag to the mere Keke driver that I had that kind of money with me.

"Hajiya, I don't have change." See how he changed my name to Hajiya, just because of a thousand naira note.

"Okay then, you can hold the change, today is your lucky day." I replied with attitude and immediately he started thanking and blessing me, feeling proud and powerful, I made my way inside while he was still thanking me.

I met with basma and seyi, their driver dropping them and we walked towards the building together.

"How was your night? You and Alhaji Bello left early yesterday, where did you go to umm?" Seyi questioned, raising her eyesbrows naughtingly.

"Well first, my night was good Alhamdulillah, and no we didn't go anywhere else, he just took me home and gave me a hundred thousand." I replied proudly, the first money I received from a guy.... Well a man rather.

"A hundred thousand? That's good, that means we're in for a treat tonight." Basma nudged me and I laughed.

"Yes, today's on me." I replied and we all laughed.

"Fatima, Alhaji Bello just called, he said he's taking you shopping as he is not satisfied with the way you dress." Tabitha announced her presence.

"OH okay, I have never gone shopping before but where will I drop the cloths, my parents will kill me if they are to see those sorts of cloths at home." I objected, my parents are not the trouser tolerant people, they preferred Ankara and Abayas, although my Abaya is only one.

" You can just drop it at my house, I mean that's where we meet before going out anyway, whenever you want to wear it, you can just wear it there." Tabitha adviced and I agree as we all moved to our classes.

AFTER SCHOOL, Alhaji Bello picked me up and took me to a shopping mall inside of the Jabi lake mall.

A store called," classy and sassy", it was filled with trousers, shirts, shorts, heels etc.

Alhaji Bello beckoned me to the trouser section where they were varieties of them.

I took three faded jeans trouser and two black ones, I made to leave the store but Alhaji Bello picked four more and placed them in my hands.

He said I need to take as many as possible.

Next we moved to the shirts section and I took three long sleeves, Alhaji Bello started taking crop tops, backless, which I protested and told him I couldn't wear something like that.

He objected that it woukd make him very happy and I had to let it go.

After the mini shopping, I was left with ten bags, three consisting of trousers, two heels, two sneakers and the remaining three with shirts.

We moved to the car and straight to Tabitha house, Tabitha parents are never around, conference here and there, and Tabitha been the only child is left alone with only the workers, so she's allowed to received anyone.

We dropped it at Tabitha's and drove back home, with a peck on the cheek, I told him to drop me two streets away from my house, so as not to run into someone I know again.
