We walked into the dining room and I breathed in.
I could feel his coldness and I was put off by that but I had enough confidence from Rose rooting for me.
I breathed out and looked at Kingston who didn't once look at me.
"I...uhm Kingston can I work for my grandparents still?" I said quickly
The words overwhelmed me and I could feel his deadly stare pierce me.
"Hmm No," he said coldly
"Please, I want to work! I hate staying in here" I protested
He looked at me and I saw one eyebrow go up. I could see the fear in Rose's eyes.
I felt a shiver run down my spine.
' This is bad! I've messed up' I thought
I hung my head low and wait for a response from him or even a punishment.
"Do you really want to work that badly?" He asked.
"Yes!"
He looked back at his papers as soon as I gave him my answer
There was a small pause before he looked back up at me.
"You can work but there is one condition," Kingston said
I was overwhelmed with excitement when he said I could work. I had to think of a response before he got angry. Kingston was always like that you see he's the type of person
"What is it?" I asked curiously.
"You have to work at my company," Kingston said in a Stern voice.
A shiver ran up my spine and I could feel his stare looking into my mind. I had to make a quick decision but I had a lot to think about.
I would see him nearly every day but...
