Coming Home

I look out Colby's bedroom window. It's raining. It hardly ever rains here. I crawl back into Colby's bed and curl up into a ball. I literally wanna cry. I look over at my phone, still no text from him. He told me he would call today. He was gonna be gone for another 2 weeks and I couldn't stand it. Suddenly my phone rang.

"Colby!?"

"Hi baby."

"I miss youuu." I whined

"I miss you too baby, but it's only 2 more weeks."

"That's to longgg." I whined again.

"I know (Y/N). But guess what I did."

"What?"

"I sent you a surprise and Sam texted me that it's downstairs now, so go get your present."

"Okay one sec." I said getting up from the bed. "I'm excited to see what you sent." I said walking down the hallway. I started to trot down the stairs. When I got to the bottom I turned towards the door and saw something I never expected to see. Colby, standing there with a bow on the top of his head.

"SURPRISE!" He yelled, accompanied by all of the roommates standing around with cameras.

I stood back in shock and covered my mouth. As I did so Kat came over and grabbed my phone so I wouldn't drop it. They all laughed. I couldn't believe my eyes.

"COLBY!" I screamed as I ran over to him and jumped on him. My legs wrapped around his waist and my arms around his neck. He wrapped his arms around my waist and held me tightly. the bow on his head fell off due to me jumping on him. I cried into his neck which was partially covered by the hood of his hoodie. In that moment it was just him and I, as cliché as it sounds. I backed my head out of his neck and looked at him. Still keeping his one arm around me, he took his left hand and wiped away a few tears. I kissed him softly and he kissed back. He eventually let me drop and I landed on my feet.

I looked up at him and hugged him around his waist. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders.

"You know your an asshole, right?"  I said, the roommates erupting with laughter.

"I know, but hey, it was a pretty damn good surprise, wasn't it?" He said, kissing the top of my head.

"Just.. *sigh*.. never leave for that long again, please?"

"You got it."

I backed out of the hug and looked up at him. I put out my pinky finger.

"Pinky?"

"Pinky." He said holding out his pinky and interlocking it with mine. We both kissed our thumbs and pressed them together, and then detached our pinkys. I got up on my tippy toes and grabbed his face. I kissed him passionately and he returned the passion back to me. Once we let out of the kiss we turned to see all of the roommates "awe"ing.

"Shut up."I said turning around and hugging Colby around the waist. He wrapped his arm around me and laughed. He kissed the top of my head.

"Wait!" I yelled letting out of the hug. "Do you have to go back now? Am I just not gonna be able to see you for another two weeks after this?"

"No, I'm home for good. I just told you two more weeks so that I could pull this off."

"Okay, now your OFFICIALLY an asshole." The room filled laugher once again. "But I love you."

"I love you too, (Y/N)." All of the others started to congregate in the kitchen.

He pecked me on the lips and he put his arm around me as we walked to the kitchen to be with the others.
