"BABY!" Colby yelled from down stairs as the door slammed shut. He had just gotten back from shopping and I stayed home to hang out with Kat. I got off the couch in Colby's room and told Kat I'd be right back and I wandered down the hallway to the stairs. "HURRY!" He yelled. I began to trot down stairs and when I got to the bottom, he was standing by the door with something behind his back.

I smiled at him and said "Hi baby, what was so important?" I started to walk over to him and put my arms out to hug him, but he pushed me away with one hand. I made a pouty face and said "what's up?"

"Save all the hugging until you see what I got you." He smirked. He brought his hands around to the front of him, he had a jewelry store bag. He handed it to me and I took it.

"What could this be?" I asked smiling.

"I don't know, open it." He laughed, as did I. I reached in and pulled out a necklace box. I looked up at him and smiled.

"Colbs.."

"Don't say anything, just open it." I looked back down at the box. I gave him the bag and started to open up the box. As soon as the box was fully open I gasped and held my hand over my mouth, Colby just started to chuckle and cross his arms. Inside the box laid a beautiful golden circle charm that said "(Y/F/A)+C" and on the back it said "Soulmates" with a beautiful golden chain.

I wanted to cry. All I could say was "Colby.."

He laughed again, followed by "Do you like it?" All I could do was nod my head. I was in awe. I couldn't believe it.

"Colby, I love it." I finally spoke up. He held his arms out and I walked right into them. I hugged him around his waist and he hugged me around my shoulders. I held the box on my one hand an the other one gripped onto the back of his black playboy shirt. We let out of the hug and I couldn't keep my eyes off of the necklace.

"Here, let me put it on you." He held out his hand. I gave him the box and he took the necklace out. It was on a shorter chain, which is what I like. He handed me the box and I turned around. Colby pushed away my hair and opened the little clasp. He raised it up over my head and laid it down around my neck. I turned around and he dropped the bag on the floor.

"I love you Colby."

"I love you too (Y/N)." Colby lightly grabbed the sides of my face and kissed me passionately.

Out of the blue, we hear an "Aww". We both turn to see Jake peeking around the corner. I looked at Colby and laughed. Colby smiled at me, then at Jake, took off one of his shoes, and chucked it at Jake.

"Shit!" Jake said as he ducked behind the corner. We all started laughing and Colby went to grab his shoe. As he did so, I walked into the bathroom and looked in the mirror.

As I admired the necklace, Colby came up behind me and put his arms around my waist.

"Are you sure you like it baby?" He said, kissing my cheek.

"Yes Colby, I love it, thank you." I looked at him in the mirror and I smiled.

"Good. I saw it at the mall and I immediately thought of you. And I even got the shorter chain so that the little pendant would sit in your little neck dimple."

"I noticed that, thank you."

"No problem. You were worth it." My heart melted.
