I'm suddenly awoken by a knock on my bedroom door. I rub my eyes and feel the dry tears left on my cheeks.
Ellie: Come in!
I look over at the door to see Charlie slowly closing the door. He comes over to me and as I'm about to sit up he stops me. He puts an arm around me.
Charlie: You Okay Ellie? We were gonna meet up yesterday.
Ellie: Yeah Im fine.
Charlie: I know we only just met but you can tell me
I look over to him and he gives me a warm smile that made my whole day a lot better

I bursted out the words then the tears came pouring out my eyes. He immediately pulled me into him. I felt safe with him, Tom would never. He plays with my hair relaxing me a bit.
Charlie: Calm down Ellie. They're in a better place but sadly it's always going to hurt. They're watching you from up here, don't make them worry, they want to see you happy.

Tom: Hey I heard what happened?
He then saw Charlie and got mad, but he realized that he was helping me, relaxing me a bit.
Tom: I'm sorry that I wasn't there for you. I hope that we can still be friends and I hurt you more than you should be. With your parents death I just feel like i should feel sorry because I treated you bad and yesterday must've been a bad day for you I embarrassed you in front of him and I'm sorry you really shouldn't accept my apology but just know that im sorry for what I did to you and your brother.
I sit up and motion a hug. He comes over to give me a hug, I had forgot how it felt in his arms. He then pulls away.
Tom: I think WE should get going, so you can rest.
As both of them are about to leave I grab Charlie's wrist and pull him towards me. Tom stops at the doorway.
Ellie: You can go Tom
I pull Charlie into a kiss without thinking. He doesn't hesitate to kiss back.
