In case anyone wondered about my committment to authenticity when writing my stories, I'd like to say that I actually go the extra mile of preparing the foods mentioned in Chasing Pearls myself.
Before posting this week's chapter of Chasing Pearls, I made (my version of) Mahnoor's maqluba recipe for dinner last night.
And now I'm sad because I brought some for lunch at work and it's all gone already lol.
