"Maya! Dinner is ready come upstairs please." My mom calls me.

"Fine." We have this weird thing that we eat dinner together ever night together if you're home. We of course have a personal chef who cooks for us 3 times a week.

"Alright buddy so how was your game?" My dad asks my little brother who is currently busy stuffing his mouth with pasta. It's a Saturday night which means Netflix and a lot of Nutella for me once I'm done with dinner.

"It was good we busted them. 6:1." They high five each other.

"Isaac language, please."

"Well if you busted them how did they manage to still score a goal?" I ask him. "I bet you were the goalie around that time."

"Shut up and make some friends."

"Uhhh buuuuurn." My sister yells. I just roll my eyes at them.

"I'll make some friends once you become a good goalie."

"Aka never. Sucks for the both of you." Well at least I taught my sister something helpful.

"Maya honey, did you look into the offers for the dance squad yet?" My mom is all about me joining the dance squad because it would be seriously awesome if I did.

"Nah not yet. I don't know it would be a big commitment and I have to focus on school and I won't even be good enough."

"Oh shut up May we both now you'd make it. Have some faith in yourself." Did I mention that somehow me and my brother are extremely close? We basically talk about everything and even though he is an annoying piece of shit most of the times I love him to death.

"Sweetheart, I think it would be a really nice chance for you. Think about it and like your brother said have some faith in yourself."

"Thanks dad."

"Oh May guess what I did at horseback riding today!" My sister gives me a big smile.

"What?"

"We started galloping and Miss Kate said if I keep on improving the way I do, I can start the jumps in 2 weeks!"

"Damn those are great news! I'm so proud of you."

"Maya." My mom gives me the look. She thinks I teach them a wrong language. She calls it inappropriate while I call it educating and preparing for real life. I mean come on my brother is starting middle school this year and he comes into my room to show me the newest songs he just discovered aka the big butts song or bad n bujee. So tell me about inappropriate stuff.

"Nate how was your day little munchkin?"

"I saw Horsies today."

"Oh really?"

"Yes. Horsie eat apple." But before we can chat any further he's already busy talking about the carrots on his plate with my dad.

"Got any plans tonight big sis?" Isaac asks me.

"Jup I got a Nutella jar, Netflix and most importantly my bed and Dylan O'Brien waiting for me."

"You're such a loser."

"Thanks for noticing. Any other life-changing revelations you'd like to reveal to me?" He remains silent. "Thought so. Alright if I may be excused? Someone is waiting for me downstairs." I got the whole basement to myself it's kinda like an apartment once you come downstairs there a big tv some couches on one side and in the corner is my favorite part: my reading corner. I have this huge bookshelf which is filled with all of my favorite books of course sorted by genre, author, size and color. Yea I'm crazy. One door leads so my bedroom in which I also have another TV in front of my beloved king size bed which is covered in pillows. The wall behind my bed is a big window there is also a door that leads me outside (the perfect way to sneak out is what my brother always tells me). I asked my dad to put it there so I can watch the sunrise and sunsets from my bed and on the other wall I have one big framed painting. It's one of my favorite quotes: 'The beauty of things must be that they end' by Jack Kerouac. It has a picture of a rose that is slowly dying next to it. I fell in love with it the very first second i saw it so I had to get it. In my bedroom I have two more doors: one leading to my walk in closet and the other one to my bathroom. I like to keep all of my things very organized and clean so you can picture what my room looks like. I quickly go to my bathroom to get changed and ready for my date night with Dylan O'Brien. I mean come on who could possibly ever get tired of Teen Wolf? And Tyler Poseys Abs? Just saying, I mean I might be a geek but at least one with taste.
