(Y/N)'s POV

I walked beside Haerin as we walked through the semi-crowded hallways while talking about random stuff, mainly about knowing each other.

She was pretty chill and cool, to be very honest. "Hey, do you have a crush on any of my 7 friends?" I asked her as she looked at me with disbelief.

"What? No! I didn't befriend you just because of them, I just love your personality and all, hehe... But I would love to be friends with them!" She answered as I widened my eyes, does such pure souls exist in this world anymore?

"Besides, my heart belongs to Choi San only, stan talent stan ATEEZ!" She exclaimed as I led out a small chuckle.

She took out her phone and showed me one of their music videos, wow.

They just debuted and they are really talented.

"They really are talented." I said as she nodded and smiled. We proceeded on our random talk as while we walked past two girls, I overhead them gossiping.

"Who is that girl walking next to (Y/N)? She looks like a whole loser." One of them whispered to the other.

"Does she pick up losers now? What a low-life, that girl looks disgusting anyways." The other girl replied as I bit my bottom lip as I glanced at my side.

Haerin heard it all, but she still had a smile on her face.

This made me mad, why attack her when you don't even know shit? Irrelevant assholes.

I couldn't handle it anymore, I stopped in my tracks as I called out to them.

"Hey, do you know your whispering is loud as fuck?" I said to both of them as they stopped and looked at me with confusion.

"What the hell? Why were you listening to our conversation anyways? Creep." One of them scoffed as I rolled my eyes and folded my arms infront of my chest.

"(Y/N), you don't have to-" Haerin tried to stop me as gave her a reassuring look before glaring bac at both of them.

"I didn't want to listen to it anyways, but guess what, your crusty ass mouth was too loud." I spat.

"Ugh, you're so annoying, just go with your slave." They said as they turned around and walked away.

I immediately went up to them and grabbed one of their arm and held my grip on it, making them stop. "What the fuck? That hurts, stop!" They screeched as I glared at them.

"What good do you make when you gossip about people you don't know? The last time I remembered, those people were lowlife assholes who had too much of their freetime, why don't you go back and learn basic manners?" I scoffed as both of them looked at me with pure annoyance one of them broke out of my grip as they immediately scurried off.

Haerin tapped my shoulder as I looked at her, "You really didn't have to do that, now I feel bad..." She muttered as I shook my head.

"Its fine, those people had no right to say that about you, lowlife hoes." I scoffed.

"Thank you so much, I feel so grateful to meet someone like you." She said as I led out a small smile.

"Anyways, lets head to the cafeteria now, I'm starving!" I exclaimed as we head to the cafeteria together.

Having true friends makes me feel so much better, unlike last time.

Flashback;

All of us were at the back of the school, my friends were bullying this poor girl, I was just there seeing everything going down.

"Guys, I think we should stop, we've done enough." I tapped my friend's shoulder as all of them looked at me with unison.

"Are you crazy? Have you become that weak, (Y/N)?" They asked me as I bit my lip and they landed another slap at the poor girl.

"Look, I never wanted to be involved in this." I sighed.

"Then leave, if you're so weak, why are you even here? Ugh, you were so much better last time." They said in annoyance as I sighed.

They kept bullying the poor girl as I finally decided to stand up for her. I walked up to my friends as I stopped them from doing anymore harm to the girl.

"Stop right now, you have done enough harm to her." I yelled as they look at me with disgust and confusion.

"What the hell? Get out of my way!" They said as they attempted to push me out of the way, but I grabbed one of their arms and I was about to give her a hard slap.

But then suddenly,

"You punks, what are you doing?" The voice of the disciplinary teacher boomed as he looked at us with confusion, then he looked at me with anger, he thought that I was the one that was bullying.

"I-It's not what it seems." I said as I let go of their arm as the teacher raised an eyebrow.

"She did it, she harmed all of us, she's dangerous!" They pointed at me and shouted as I just stood there, dumbfounded.

The victim just silently stood up and ran away, which made me shock as well, I didn't do anything, I did nothing!

"I knew that you were bad trouble, come to my office this instant!" The teacher yelled as I just stood there confused.

I bit my bottom lip, this is so unfair.

I followed the teacher to the office as I looked back at my 'friends', they were laughing.

And thats when I knew that after all times, humans are just humans.
