'You're what?!'

You looked at the happy face of your best friend. She was very excited to hear your news. You moved from America to London after you and Newt met. You had been together ever since then.

'I'm pregnant.' You replied with a smile.

'Oh my god! You and Newt got freaky and now this? I'm so happy for you!' She squealed before hugging you. 'You two must be excited!' She smiled while sitting down.

'Well.. Newt doesn't know yet.' You admitted.

'You didn't tell him?' She asked.

'Not yet. I've only known it for like.. 3 days.'

'3 days and you didn't tell him?' She asked. 'That's bad Y/N. He has to know.'

You sighed.

'I'm just scared to tell him.' You said while looking at the table.

'Scared?' She asked.

You knew you shouldn't be scared. Newt was the most loving, cute person in the world. He wouldn't get mad but you just didn't know if he would be ready for it. If he wanted this.

'Newt is very busy with all of his creatures and his work and everything. I don't know if he's ready. This wasn't planned.'

Your friend did get what you meant.. But she still didn't change her mind.

'Y/N, if Newt can take care of magical creatures.. then he will also be able to take care of your new..creature.'

You smiled at her remark. Maybe that was true. Newt loved hoscreatures very much.. Maybe he could love your baby as much as he loved them.

'You really think so?' You asked.

'Of course I do.' She smiled. 'It's Newt we're talking about.'

Later that day you were at home. Newt was downstairs with his creatures. You were nervously sitting on the couch. You wanted to talk to him. You wanted to tell him.

You got up and walked down the stairs into his basement. Newt was standing there with the nifflers. You smiled When you saw him. He turned to you.

'Hi honey.' He smiled.

Newt put down the baby niffler he was holding and walked over to you. He kissed you shortly. You smiled at him.

'You've been down here for long. Need any help?' You asked.

'Yes, could you hold him.' Newt said while picking up a baby niffler and handed it to you.

You held him. He was cute. Anything that was small had been giving you these thought about you holding your own child. Newt grabbed some milk and fed it to him. Newt was standing close to you. You looked at him.

He was very good with these baby creatures. It gave you hope. Maybe he was ready for it too. He looked like he was really enjoying it.

Newt noticed you staring at him. He looked up and passed you a cute smile. He stopped feeding the niffler and put him back in the cage which he locked.

'Newt.. I wanted to talk about something.' You said.

Newt looked at your over his shoulder.

'That sounds serious.' He said while cleaning up the milk.

He then turned around and leaned against the table.

'What's wrong?' He asked. 'Are you okay.'

He noticed that you were nervous. As if there was something wrong with you. Ever since you said that sentence your heart was beating fast and loud. You were afraid that he could hear it.

'I'm fine. I'm great actually.'

'Really? You've been sick, are you sure you're okay?'

'I am.. I just.. we might be getting something new.' You said.

You didn't know why you said that. You just wanted to ease into it.

'Something new? Did you find a new creature.'

'Erm.. sort off?'

'Sort off?' Newt asked.

You sighed and looked at him. Newt grabbed your hand and pulled you towards him. He wrapped an arm around your waste. You looked up at him.

'You know you can tell me anything.' He said.

'I know.'

'Then why won't you?' He asked.

It was stupid to doubt him. You knew it was. He was the sweetest guy you had ever met.

'I'm scared. I'm scared that you don't feel the same way about this then I do.'

'It'll be okay. Just tell me. If you're happy about it I'm sure I am too.' Newt smiled.

'I'm pregnant.' You spoke softly.

'What?' Newt asked.

'I'm pregnant.' You repeated.

Newt looked at you for a moment. You couldn't judge what he was thinking. It could be anything. You didn't say anything. You just stared at him.

'Really?' He asked.

You nodded. Newt then showed jm of the most precious smiles you had ever seen.

'You better not be joking.'

'I'm not.'

Newt then hugged you. He held you tightly and you hugged him back.

'I can't even tell you how happy I am.' He said. 'I love you. You make me so happy.'

You smiled. You were very happy that he was happy. You shouldn't have doubted him.

'I'm glad you're happy.' You smiled. 'I love you too.'

You looked back at him before kissing him passionately.
