Everything had just ended. New York was completely destroyed. You looked at Newt. You may him because you had to work with him. You two travelled to America together where everything just went down.

You heard the rain falling outside. You walked over to Newt. He smiled at you. Newt was a truly charming man. You had been working with him for a awhile and you were every good friend. You maybe liked him a little more than you should.

You hugged Newt. He was surprised but he hugged you back. His smile grew a little wider when he did. He really enjoyed the time he spend with you.

'I'm glad you're okay.' Newt said.

'I'm glad you're okay too.' You said. 'It's been difficult but we made it.'

'I'm glad you were there. Couldn't have asked for a better partner.'

You let him go and looked at him. You two smiled at each other for a moment.

'Y/N, can I talk to you?' Tina asked.

You tore your eyes away from Newt. You stepped out of his warm embrace and approached Tina.

'What's up?' You smiled.

'You're doing it on purpose, aren't you?' She asked you while crossing her srms.

'Doing what exactly?' You asked.

'You know what you're doing. You're just jealous of me because you know there is something between me and Newt.'

'Wait.. You like Newt?' You asked.

'Yes I do.. of course I do. Have you seen him?'

You looked at Newt. You had seen his handsomeness.

'I really didn't know, I'm sorry if I gave you the feeling that I was doing anything on purpose.'

'I'm almost positive that he likes me too. Like he almost told me. Please just back off.'

Newt really gave you the feeling that he liked you.. were you wrong? Again?

'I'm Sorry. I didn't know you hated me this much. I hope you and Newt get together.' You said.

You looked at Newt who was talking to Queenie and Jacob. Where you heart would be happy when you saw him You were just heart broken now. You just wished you would've seen it before.

You decided to go away before he could notice. When Newt finished talking to Jacob and Queenie he wanted to look for you. He looked around but you weren't there. He walked over to Tina.

'Where is Y/N?' He asked her.

Newt actually wanted to tell you how much he enjoyed that time he spend with you and he wanted to ask you out.

'She left.' Tina said.

'What? Why? She didn't even say anything.'

'I don't know. We talked and she left. So disgraceful.'

Newt stared at the exit. He couldn't believe that you were actually gone.

A few days later you were back in England. You were trying to find a new job seeing that you hadn't shown up at Newts house at all. You hated it. You missed him but it was better this way.

You were taking a walk through London. It was great to empty your head. You felt someone grab your wrist. You turned around and looked straight into Newts eyes.

You pulled your arm away from him and took a step back.

'I can't believe you're here and didn't show up for work. Do you have any idea how worried I've been?! Some of the things we do is a two man job! I have been struggling!'

You didn't say anything. You just felt sad while you looked at him.

'You've got nothing to say?! Just like when you left America?! You just talk to someone and then suddenly decide to leave?!'

Newt was pretty pissed.

'That's not how it happened.' You said.

'Okay so you can talk. What the hell is wrong with you?! Right before you decided to leave we were so all so happy that everything was over and then you just leave.. You just leave and say nothing!'

You looked away from him and felt tears sting in your eyes. You didn't want him to be mad at you.

'You can't just do that. We work together, Jacob wouldn't even remember anything and you didn't even say goodbye!'

'Stop! Stop it Newt!' You choked while a tear ran down your cheek. 'Don't judge a situation which you know nothing about. Just stop. Give the job to someone else and leave me alone.'

You walked past him. Newt was only angry because he was hurt too. He thought he had done something wrong. He blamed himself that you left.

'Yeah go. Walk away again. You can't just decide to leave all of sudden!'

'That's not how it went.' You choked while turning around. 'Who ever told you that is lying.'

'Then explain it to me.' Newt said, suddenly a bit more calm.

'I was talking to Tina and she said That she was in love with you and she said That I was trying to push her away from you on purpose. She said that you almost straight up told her that you're in love with her too.' You said. 'I just.. I just couldn't stay. I couldn't stand the fact that you were going to say goodbye to Tina and tell her how much you like her. That you two would be together. I can't stand the thought of you being happy with someone else.'

Newt softened his posture.

'I just couldn't face you afterwards. I'm sorry that I left but it's just best if I do. I hope you'll become very happy with Tina but I just don't want to see it.'

'Are you in love with me?' Newt asked.

You looked at him. You felt some more tears escape as you gently nodded. Newt smiled a little. He stepped a little closer to you.

'You're right. Tina has been lying.' Newt said.

You looked at him in confusion.

'I'm not in love with her. Not at all. No offence to her but.. I like you more.' Newt said. 'Right after you left I actually wanted to ask you out.. I thought I did something wrong. I'm sorry if I made it seem like I liked her. I really don't.'

'Really?' You asked.

Newt smiled at nodded.

'So how about we go back to my place and chill in my basement with the creatures. Let's hurry this incident and start fresh.' He smiled.

You smiled and dried your eyes.

'I'd like that.' You smiled.
