You watched Credence move through the city. The poor boy just couldn't stop it. You were so happy that you weren't struggling with that anymore.

You learned to control your obscures. It was difficult sometimes but you could. You took a deep breath and ran after the obscurus. People were trying to get to him. You had to help him before they'd kill him.

You and Credence had been friends for a long time. He didn't know you had an obscurus inside of you. You really cared about him. You seemed to be the only one who did.

'Credence!' You yelled.

It didn't really seem to work. He couldn't hear you. You stopped. Could you do it? It took a lot of energy if you did but you really wanted to talk to him. You heard the sirens in the distance. You closed your eyes and felt yourself slowly turn into your obscurus. It hurt and it was difficult, but it was the only way.

You made your way over to him, trying to destroy as little as possible. You made your way over to Credence. He stopped a moment. You took this change to go over to the core of his obscures. Seeing you were one too, it didn't kill you.

You saw Credence surrounded by the blackness of his obscurus. His eyes were shut and you could see the years stream down his face. It was sad to see the amount of pain he was in. It was all coming out. You gently laid your hand on his cheek.

He opened his eyes and looked at you. He saw your obscurus, the worry in your eyes.

'You're.. how?' He asked.

'I can control mine.' You said. 'It takes a lot of energy to become my obscurus.. It also takes a lot of energy to hold it back at time.' You said.

You moved a little closer to him and held him tightly. Your obscurus was tangled with his. Credence laid his head on your shoulder. He broke down crying again.

'The police are on their way. You need to calm down.'

'I can't.' He sobbed. ' Nobody cares about me anyways. Even if they'd destroy me.. No one would miss me.' He cried.

'I would Credence. I know I'm not your parents, I can never make up for what your mother did.. I know Graves betrayed you, I know you're scared and alone because you have these immense powers.. but I'm here for you. Let me help you Credence.'

You slowly him go and wiped his tears away.

'You mean that?' He asked.

'Of course.' You smiled.

You were getting a little emotional yourself. You kissed his cheek and slowly felt his obscurus shrink. You quickly join him before you harmed him. When you two were changed back You quickly dragged him away before anyone could find him.

You took him back to your place and sat down on the couch. You were tired and so was he. He sat down besides you.

'You can stay here.' You smiled.

Credence smiled a little at you.

'There's your smile.' You grinned.

'Thank you.' He said.

You sat up a little.

'For helping me.. I could've died out there.'

'I'll teach you how to control it.'

Credence smile grew a little wider. He looked away from you. He seemed a little shy.

'I won't let you go back. I really care about you. I was afraid I'd lose you.'

Credence looked at you. He didn't want you to feel sad. He laid his hand on your shoulder. You looked at him.

'I'll stay here. I'll accept your help.' He said.

You smiled and hugged him tightly.
