"Dick, slow down! Or you won't have any energy for tonight!" Mary yelled at her son, who was currently bouncing off the walls (literally).
"Nu (No)!" Dick laughed.
He did a back flip off of the wall and grabbed onto the light fixture above what should have been the dinner table in the main cabin of the circus train. But instead, was currently a stage for two young and very energetic boys.
Danny stared up at his brother and clapped his hands in glee.
"Sus (Up)!" Danny exclaimed to his older brother, holding his hand up in the air.
Dick leaned down, grabbing his younger (by three years) brother and hoisted him up. From there, Danny reached for the escape latch on the top of the train and opened it up. Both boys were suddenly free from the train car. They ran across the top of the train car, doing flips in between to jump from one car to the next.
"Ei, John! Ain't those your boys up 'ere on the roof again?" The strongman called to the acrobat who was currently checking over the wires.
Their father, John Grayson, looked over from the circus tent.
"I told Mary we shouldn't raise kids in the circus. Can never keep track of them since they learned to walk." He grumbled.
"If I remember it correctly, isn't Mary the one who told you that?" Haly, the owner of the circus asked.
"Butt out." John laughed to the old man who may as well been family.
"John!" Mary called out to her husband, hand on her hip with a look that said 'get them off or your in trouble'. After all, he was the one that taught them how to get up there in the first place.
"I'm on it!" He yelled back. "Daniel James Grayson and Richard John Grayson! Get off the roof! Or you won't be preforming tonight!"
The boys looked at each other wide eyed. There was no chance Dick was going to miss his first show ever up on the trapeze with his parents.
Dick did a flip off the train car, landing perfectly on the ground. Danny right behind him, but without the grace the older possessed, landed right on top of his brother, knocking both of them over.
"Tada!" Danny shouted with glee, spreading both of his arms up in the air like he had meant to that. Don't tell anyone, he actually did.
"Get your butt off of me." Dick growled, pushing his brother off and onto the ground.
Danny looked up into his brother's eyes with tears welling in his own.
That did it for Dick, it always did. And their parents. And everyone else at the circus. No one could resist those eyes and Danny sure knew it.
"Ugh!" Dick groaned, throwing his back dramatically.
A small smile broke out on his brother's face when he noticed he was quickly breaking Dick down with his act like always.
"Amenda (Fine)! You win and I'm sorry. You happy?" Dick groaned, staring down at his brother.
"Ura (Hurray)!" Danny cheered, wrapping his small arms around Dick's neck, cuddling up to his older brother with so much glee.
He slowly stood back up, picking Danny up in the process and wrapping his own arms around his baby brother to set him on his hip.
"You know that won't work forever, right?" Dick said, looking down at Danny.
"Știu, dar o voi folosi până în acea zi (I know, but I'll use it until that day)." Danny told Dick, smiling the whole time.
