It had been two months since Deathstroke's death. Danny had moved in with Bruce at that time and was offically adopted and rencounced as alive one and a half months ago. Bruce had figured Danny needed two weeks before completely going public to allow him to settle in for bit first. And oh boy did Danny need it. As soon as things went public the supposed dead Flying Grayson son was annouced alive and getting adopted by Bruce Wayne. The press had a field day with that. Danny couldn't even step a foot outside of the mansion without being swarmed or watched by someone. He went into town once with his brother and newly adoptive father and was instantly surrounded by news reporters and poparazzi wanting to have a word with him. Since then, he borded up inside the mansion until things cooled off a bit. Bruce even invited a reporter he trusted, none other then Clarke Kent, into the manor for an interview with Danny did things finally calm down. Of course, Danny had a field day messing with the boy in blue since Clarke hadn't actually been informed Danny was Shadow. Should have seen his face when Danny transformed in front of him. Of course Danny, Dick, nor Bruce would ever let Clarke live it down. Anyways, since Clarke had the interview, everyone backed off a bit. And since the six weeks have passed everyone had moved onto new news. While Danny was still a topic that came up, it was no where as bad. He could actually go out. And as of last week, started at Gotham Academy as well.
And what about his other life he left behind, you may ask? Danny spent the two weeks where no one knew about him visiting all of Slade's hideouts that Danny personally knew about. Granted he wouldn't be surprised if Slade had a few he didn't know of. Danny collected up anything he may have wanted to keep from each, then set fire to them all to destroy anything that could lead to him or Slade's life that he, nor Slade if he was alive, didn't want to be found out. The last he took care of was the hideout in Gotham. The one he spent most of his time with Slade in. While he walking through, reminising over old memories, someone had showed up. Someone he was sort of expecting to see, espeically since news of hideouts getting destroyed travelled around the villans. It was Harley and Catwoman who had shown up. Danny had explained to them what had happened. And even told them of his new name and identity, getting adopted by Batman. Everything. He trusted them more then anyone else living, so he even finally told them of his past, his brother, his parents dying. He left no detail out. Of course they figured out Batman's identity with the details. It only came a shock to Harley Quinn as Selina had a bit of an ongoing past with Bruce and Batman. Harley promised her little spooky to not tell a soul to anyone. And she even turned over a whole new leaf. Well sort of. Like Selina, she became a bit of an antihero. While she still steals, she doesn't hurt anyone to bad and even helps the heroes from time to time. And Danny still sees her and Catwoman from time to time. Though Catwoman just a little more often, especially around the manor.
"You really think I'm ready. Last I met these people I did seriously injure them." Danny asked nervously.
"You caused us a lot of trouble. Least I know you can hold your own." Robin stated, thinking back to having his little brother kicking his and his team's asses. "Don't worry though. They'll love you. Wally already does."
"Yeah, besides Wally. But that's only because he's your boyfriend and he has to like me or you'd hang him from a tree again." The younger of the two responded.
"Sorry, I don't think I heard right. I did what again? If I remember correctly when he found out you were Shadow and got scared of you, you flew him up there yourself and locked his leg to the branch with a meta cuff." Dick questioned, becoming very amused.
"Funny, I never remember doing that. I would never lay a hand on your boyfriend like that. I thought you were being way over protective and locked him up there to send him a message to be nice to me or else. I just found him up there." Danny feigned innocence, as of course, he could never be capable of such thing.
