It has been months since the death of the Flying Graysons. The two sons have gone their separate ways, well, sort of.

Danny Grayson was taken in by Slade Wilson that night and didn't really ever look back on the choice he made. Even at his young age, he knew he had to stop his parents' murderer no matter the cost.

Danny seemed more grown up now. He didn't act like his usual carefree self that he was in the circus. He completely learned English and now only spoke that, his mother tongue seemingly forgotten to him. He even learned to speak three other languages. His personality was now more mature and darker, but losing your innocence at such a young age would do that to a person.

Danny stood behind Slade, staring at the screen as Slade typed away on it. Just by looking, Danny was quickly learning just what he was doing. By now he was already able to hack into basic low security systems. Though his skill in hacking and code were very quickly growing. Hell, if he kept it up, he'd probably be able to hack the Justice League's system within a year. Well, that's what Slade told him anyway.

Danny sighed as he quickly grew bored of watching Slade type away on the keyboard. This was all something he had seen him do plenty of times over and over again.

Instead to amuse himself he decided to practice some of his acrobatics. Okay, so maybe not everything about him had changed. Besides, the acrobatics were the best part. Throw in some lessons from Slade himself and Danny was pretty deadly for a kid his size and age.

Danny hopped up on the couch and started doing some flips he used to do in his performances. The little acrobat did a handspring off the back of the couch followed by a few flips and twirls when he could.

"Would you please stop, Daniel? That couch is for sitting, not for practising. If you break it, you buy it." Slade warned, though the threat was not taken by Danny. After all, Slade never did follow through on any of them before.

Danny stuck his tongue out at Slade in return. Though his attention was quickly turned back to the computer when he heard a small 'ding'.

He ran over immediately, his eyes suddenly hardened and his whole demeanour changed.

"Did you-?" Danny asked, his question cut off though.

"We got him. We got Tony Zucco."

Dick's POV

Four years. It has been exactly four years since I've seen my baby brother. The police have cut off all investigations, pronouncing him dead to the world. That night had been the hardest of my entire life. I watched my parents fall, then I couldn't even find my little brother. If only... if only I had gone back quicker. Maybe if I didn't run to my parents and ran to him instead, he'd still be with me.

After the death of my parents, I spent weeks sneaking out of the orphanage I was placed into to search for Danny. Then Bruce Wayne AKA Batman adopted me. I learned his secret, then we both started to search. During that time, we also learned that my parents' death weren't an accident. A guy named Tony Zucco had tampered with the trapeze just before the show. He was found dead in an abandoned warehouse tied to a chair only a few months after the event.  It was obvious by his state that he was brutally tortured before his death. It looked by the slits on his wrists that he bled out slowly.  I didn't feel much of anything when I discovered this fact. I don't think he deserved what happened to him, no one does. But this was also the man that killed my parents. I mean, I wanted the guy to pay for his crimes, but by spending it locked behind bars. I still don't know how to feel about the situation.

After this factor, we put searching for the killer behind us and focused more time on my brother. And now... I wanted to believe that he's still out there somewhere. But I couldn't anymore. Even with Batman on the case, he didn't find a thing. The world's greatest detective couldn't find one clue to my brother's whereabouts. He stopped searching last year. I tried to fight him on it, but eventually I gave up as well a few months after. I won't ever completely accept his death to be true, but I had a life as well. One I had to start living. Especially now with the new team formed.
