*George*
Waking up slowly with a little pain in my chest. I raised myself up on my elbows to see I was on the stairs. Lifting my shirt up I saw the scar from when Gwen got me with the stake.
I stood and placed my hand over my heart. It wasn't beating anymore. I wasn't even breathing. I felt icy cold and it didn't bug me.
The sun was up and light poured in the destroyed living room. Memories of me throwing my beloved at the coffee table and trying to harm my little girl had me furious at myself.
But it wasn't really me who did this to them. It was a thing that wore my skin and spoke like me. Now whatever that was is now in my future wife.
Heading towards the window I took a moments hesitation before I held my hand out in sunlight. Hissing in pain I jerked my hand away and held it to my chest.
Just by that little moment I now knew for sure I was an undead vampire.
Heading up to my room I laid on the bed and looked up at the ceiling. Tonight I will find my wife and my little girl.
Glancing at the alarm clock it read, 5:47pm. Only two more hours then I can come out. Closing my eyes my mind lingered to Gwen and her beautiful face.
I missed her so very much and I'd be damed if I loose her. I lost her for so many years and now that she's still here and alive I'll do anything to keep her safe.

Opening my eyes I stretched and looked around. I was laying on my side with my hands tucked under my pillow.
I'm guessing I fell asleep. Getting up I hurried down stairs and yanked open a cabinet. Inside it was three bottles of animal blood.
My fangs came out as I chugged the first bottle. Blood seeped down the corners of my lips as I drank the last one. Whipping my mouth I felt better than I once was.
I walked outside and ran into the woods in search for my beloved.
I was a faster runner now that I drunk so much blood. All my powers and senses are now on high. Stopping by the beach my ears caught the sound of a faint gun shot.
Running in that direction just to make sure it wasn't my Gwen. More gun shots were heard in the quiet air. I could smell blood getting stronger but I didn't crave it.
Stopping by a tree I saw a man walking away. On the ground I saw Gwen laying down in a pool of her own blood.
"Gwen!" I yelled as I ran up to her. She forced a smile and I got down on my knees. I turned her over so could lay on her back. I looked at her chest and stomach to see bullet wholes.
I grabbed her shirt and lifted it up. Blood was running down her right side, loosing so much blood. "I'm f..fine" she whispered.
Looking at her blood covered her soft pink lips. "I'm going to take care of you baby. Your gonna be fine." She coughed up blood violently and I eased her up in my lap.
"I guess this is how I die." She whispered as she tried to grin. I shook my head no as I ran my fingers through her hair. "I've been meaning to ask you something ever since I saw you in the parking lot."
I pulled out a black ring case and opened it. "I was going to ask you to marry me. I can't live without you. Your the reason I'm still alive today. My once beating heart only beats for you. Your my everything and I wish to start a family with you."
She grinned and set her hand over mine. "Yes, I will marry you." I took out the ring and slid it on her ring finger.
I carefully bent down and kissed her softly. When I looked down at her she laid perfectly still. I could no longer hear her heart beating. Nor could I see her chest rising and falling from taking in deep breaths.
Gwen was dead in my arms.
