Chapter 16

Alex's P. O. V.

It has been 2 weeks since Legolas told me about my death years and years and years ago. I haven't been talking to him since, that day. I've tried brewing many potions, casting spells and even spending hours and hours of researching on time travel or just something that'll help me get what I want. Where is The Doctor when I need him?

Well it's two weeks of failure, I want to ask Legolas so badly but I don't have the guts to walk up to him and pretend like nothing has happened! I know some of you might say "Why don't you apologize to Leggy, then make out. Kiss first questions later?"... Well I don't have the guts to do it. I'm a chicken. Yes I admitted it, when it comes to love i'm a chicken. Well I'll summarize it, I've been ignoring Legolas for 2 weeks and I'm don't have the guts to apologize to him like nothing has ever happened!

"Alex!"

"Huh? What?"

"What's gotten into you? You have not been yourself lately."

"I'm sorry Lils but there's things running in my mind lately."

"Like what? Your break up with Legolas?"

"Yes..." I lied. Well, technically we did not break up YET. Bold, caps and underline YET. Maybe I should talk to him... I miss Legolas. Honestly, I miss him... a lot. Yeah... I'm definitely talking to him...

"Oh.... Where's Katie?"

I walked down the hall out to the fields. I had Archery today, and Legolas is going to be there. Did I mention he was conducting Archery Lesson? No? Now that I mentioned it, I can bet I'll be lost in his eyes throughout the entire lesson, as usual.

Every step I take brings me closer to having butterflies in my tummy. I walked out into the fields, apparently I was early. I was the only one there, unless they moved the to another training ground. I heard a branch break, alarmed, I got ready an arrow. I turned around aiming at the sound. It was Legolas. I felt my heart drop. I lowered my weapon.

"Hey," he greeted.

"Hey."

"You're early today..."

I smiled, "Well the early bird always catches the worm right?" I did not dare to  look into his eyes.

"Yeah..."

Come on Alex. You can do it. Just say you're sorry.

"Um... Legolas, I'm s-" I was cut off by girls calling out for Legolas. He looked at me with apologetic eyes.

"We'll talk later," he said before running off to teach his class. I nod and followed him behind.

Girls were swooning and drooling. I sat way at the back. As Legolas began to talk about the techniques and the types of bows, I wandered off into La la land.

"Then there was this big spider attacking the village and  my ada took his sword out and fought the spider, saving my nana!" The blonde headed prince said.

"My nana, have not told me how my ada found her. She says I'm too young to know all of this. But I have seen my ada fighting off an army of orcs or ugly monsters." The girl said. In my perspective they look 4-ish.

"Well I've played sword fight with my ada before. Sadly he won. One day I'm going to be as good as him."

"I'm sure you'll be a good ruler, Legolas."
