Scott landed with his parents at the International Airport of Puebla.
This was new for him, he didn't even know that there was a place named Puebla, much less that Mexico had international airports other than in Monterrey, Mexico City, and Cancun.
Frankly, he was against the idea of his parents moving to Mexico, to him it was insecure. And even when he was just swallowing the idea, his parents shot him again telling him that they didn't want to move to San Miguel or Ajijic, the two big destinations for Americans in retirement.
He was mad about it because those places were the most secure for Americans but nooooo because it's too cliche and where it's the adventureeeee?
Either way, they rented a car and drove, with the help of the GPS straight to this place, Chipilo.
Again, Scott didn't know anything of this place but the truck full of melons, the smell of cows, and the big Catholic church gave him a perfect idea of how that place was.
The best thing about the first day: the strawberry popsicle tasted fucking good.
