Jinsoul knew that she wouldn't have another opportunity like this for a long time. Maybe ever, if the universe really hated her that much. After three weeks of performing at the same shows as Triptych, she knew that her little crush on Trivium's vocalist and rapper wouldn't amount to anything unless she acted now.

Jinsoul knew that her crush on Ura was very one-sided. They had barely interacted these past couple of weeks. The only time they had even come close was when Ura apologized for bumping shoulders with Jinsoul as she hurried by, and Ura's concerned hand pressed against the spot where their shoulders had just briefly touched. Jinsoul hates to admit that a swarm of butterflies erupted in her stomach from the touch and all she could think about was the black-haired girl with the big brown eyes for days after.

Jinsoul concluded that she wanted to get to know Ura better. And this conclusion is what made her write the cheesy love note on a pink post-it note and hand it to Cal to slip into Ura's sandwich at Inkigayo the last week of promotions.

She sat at a table with Yerim and Jungeun, trying to look inconspicuous as she eyed Triptych, who sat tables away, eating their lunch, praying that Chunghee came through and placed the note inside the wrapped sandwich.

"And I was like, excuse me but my Silverado could total your Tesla on impact." Teo told his story. The other members of Triptych roared with laughter. Ura herself was chuckling as she peeled back the plastic wrap of the famous Inkigayo sandwich and took a bite.

"Did she just...?" Yerim asked in shock, all three of the Odd Eye Circle members watched in a mixture of disgust and awe as their senior chewed the sandwich.

"Do you think they'll sue if Ura chokes on the note?" Jungeun asked, inspecting her own sandwich.

"Oh my god it's over for us." Jinsoul flopped her head down onto the table. "I didn't think he'd put the note inside the sandwich!"

"There's still hope! You can hold her hand when the stretcher comes to take her away to get her stomach pumped!" Yerim suggested hopefully, rubbing Jinsoul's shoulder.

Ura slowed down her chewing once she realized not all of it was going down easily. She hesitantly reached into her mouth and pulled out a pink piece of mangled paper. With a look of confusion, she examined her sandwich, realizing that there was more paper inside.

"Ura, what's that?" Zim asked with excitement, standing up to watch her younger groupmate dismantle her sandwich in order to take out the note.

It was soggy from the jam, but she could still read it clearly.

"Ura unnie, you're an inspiration, my infatuation. I have a question, will you slide into my mentions? 678-999-8212." Ura mumbled quietly, reading the note.

"Yo, Ura's crush got, say it with me, everyone," Asa said, raising his hands upward, coaxing everyone to join in.

"Bars!" The rest of Triptych stated together, the sound echoing across the cafeteria.

————–

"Oh god, I think they all read it." Jungeun commentated. Jinsoul, whose head was still buried in her arms, groaned and wished that it was she who had swallowed the paper instead.
"You still got a chance, though!" Yerim nudged at her friend. "Ura looks kinda impressed."

Jinsoul dared to look up. Over at the other table, Ura was rereading the note and smiling to herself. Then she pulled out her phone, her thumbs flying over the keyboard.

"Oh, here it comes," Yerim said excitedly.

Sure enough, a message popped up on Jinsoul's screen.
