*Max's POV*
I walked in the messhall for dinner sitting next to Space Kid, I only sat there because I didn't want to sit right next to Dolph.
He still doesn't like me after what I did, and that's for the better.
"So what we're eating today" I asked. "50 year old salad and a single chicken wing, which is also nearly 40 year old" Neil said while slamming his plate on the table.
Neil was definitely in a bad mood, but I understand I'm mad everyday that I need to stay in the hell named "Camp Campbell"
"Are you angry or hangry" I asked. "Angry" Neil sighed "Wanna know why"
"Yeah sure" I said. "Why the fuck did I say yes" I thought
"Well first Nurf beat me up, then I had to endure Harrison's magic tricks and then...." Neil listed
I slacked off and looked out the window where quartermaster was taking out the trash. "I swear there's a body in that bag" I thought.
"Attention Campers, guess what?!" David asked very- very happy. Everybody became silent. "When you say it like that you sound like you just fucking murdered someone" i said
"Watch you're language Max" David said
"David doesn't murder people Max, Daniel does that" Nerris said. "And Jen" Harrison adds.
"We are gonna take care of pets!" David said still very happy. Everyone sighed and started talking again.
"Is it really that bad, you can work in groups of two" Said David. "Wow like that makes a difference" I said
"You guys are gonna take care of these fucking pets if you like it or not!" Yelled Gwen
Everyone was silently looking at Gwen who was giving a pet to five people, Harrison got a bunny, Nurf got a hamster, Neil a tortoise, Ered a raccoon and I got a squirrel and a handful of peanuts?!
"Ok why the fuck did I get a squirrel?!" I thought "these things can have rabies"
"And now you need to find someone you want work with" David said
Everyone found someone insanely fast, Nurf grabbed Preston by his shoulder and he made a scared face.
Dolph asked Ered so I think they are taking care of Ered's raccoon.
Space Kid asked Neil, and he couldn't say no.
Harrison nearly runned to Nerris so I guess they are a thing now.
So that leaves me with Nikki.
"Hey Max!" Nikki said "So we are taking care of you're squirrel?"
"Y- yeah" I stuttered. "Why am I stuttering, I am used to talking to Nikki..." I thought.
Nikki and I walked to my tent
"Well let's get started, what is going to be his name" Nikki said excited. "Or is it a girl, who knows"
"Wow.. hold on first we're going to pick a name, how about Chip?" I said
"Nah how about... Dale!" Nikki suggested. "Did somebody say... Disney?!" Preston came walking in
"Actually no, we said Chip and Dale." Nikki said "And you can go now, we need to find a name for our squirrel here" I said
"Ooohh can I make a suggestion, how 'bout Nutz so when you can't find him you can say: have you find my Nutz" suggested Preston. "Just... Just go..." I said
Preston walked out bursting in laughter. "Nutz is a good name" Nikki said approvingly.
"NO! We're not gonna call our squirrel with that name!" I yelled
"I was just joking" Nikki said
Sooo this is a small begin chapter, but it's the start sooo.... hope y'all like it
Oh yeah help me find a name for the squirrel because I'm not good with names.
