Kai watched the twenty girls dance perfectly to the piano whether out of fear or willingly she'd probably never know.

One above all stood out to her though, Red hair, fair skin, and piercing blue-green eyes. Natalia was a beauty even at such a young age but behind that beauty held danger.

As the song speeds up the moves get faster and more complicated until finally, it slows down again and they end gracefully. Madame B looked down the line at each of them before her eyes landed on Natalia.

" You can do better. Slacking on purpose will get you nowhere but dead. "

The girls all nodded silently looking straight ahead like they were trained to do, like little toy soldiers in tutus with tight buns.

The door opened and Winter walked in looking over the girls blankly before taking his place next to Kai somewhat in front of her.

" Girls this is the other instructor you will address him as Sir and nothing more. He will mainly be over your weapons training while Miss. S will still be over combat. " Madame B explained as the girls automatically nodded.

Kai's heart clenched in pain looking over the group of young girls, the youngest in the program being 10. They were children being programmed into assassins, only to be slaughtered every two months.

She stood her eyes trained on Natalia then to the youngest girl, Gwen, a beautiful blonde with blue eyes. Half listening she watched as each of the girls got a look of Winter who just stood blankly ahead waiting for his orders.

" You are dismissed for the day." Madame B said and the girls started to walk out.

" Natalia! Stay." Kai called out causing the redhead to stop and step out of line.

It wasn't uncommon for Kai to call the girl back so Madame B wasn't concerned with it and left without another word. Winter's hand had come to Kai's elbow as the older woman had left before it traveled to her wrist.

This was also not uncommon nowadays after Howard's death, Kai had started to put the faintest of memories back into Winter's head. With that, his protectiveness had grown to the point sometimes he would have to have contact with her to make sure nothing happened.

She watched as Natalia walked forward obediently and quietly eyes at a downcast showing submission.

"  маленький паук, there is no need for you to look down when it is just you and I," Kai called to her using her nickname.

Natalia looked up hesitantly at her instructor than to her new one making it clear as to why she was submitting.

Kai nodded in understanding before turning to her partner. Winter looked down at her then to the redheaded girl in front of you.

" Winter this is Natalia, Natalia this is Winter."
