2 weeks after homecoming a boy named Jason had died at least that's what we think, his body was never found. We all thought he was just home sick, we didn't hear anything from is family members, not even his sister Madison who was at school every day.
In our small town we call Roseville, it is the perfect little town believe it or not nothing ever bad happened in Roseville. All the people were so nice, and everyone loved to hang out at the little cafe that was opened 24-7.
The 2 weeks after homecoming were so quiet, I didn't even know it was possible for this town to be so quiet.
Everyone just went to school and kept their mouths closed.

I walked into the cafe and saw Josh sitting at a booth in the corner of the cafe. Hey Josh. Mckinsey I'm so glade your here. Are you okay Josh? I think I might be in trouble. Your heart stopped and thought to yourself how Josh is a good guy he never does anything wrong, I looked up at him and nervously asked him why. He looked at me and said, do you remember the night of homecoming? Ya I said nervously.
It was half time, me and some of the other football players had gone out to the parking lot to grab some ice for my leg, and Jason was with us. Me and a couple of the other players went back to the field, but Jason and a couple of the other football players started behind.
It was time for the third quarter and the other players back all but Jason. The last time anyone saw him was in the parking lot, I tried asking the other football players who stayed with him but they won't say a word. And now they won't even look at me. I felt my heart drop but at the same time I was relieved to know that Josh didn't do anything bad, and the reason he thinks he is in trouble, is because he is worried that the other football players are going to make it seem like he did something to Jason. Josh told me good bye and I when back home.
Tomorrow is Monday, so that means everyone is going to go back to school and keeping their mouths shut. The only time people would talk about anything is if they were alone. The gossip was only in there homes because everyone was afraid to speak of Jason, because it was such a small town and if Madison heard anyone say his name she would start freaking out. Most of us thought it was diving here crazy not knowing what happened to her brother.
