The next morning I got Captain and Cody and I took him to the beach to walk around. When we got to the beach we played with Captain for a couple hours.
Cody: Hey are you hungry?
Me: Ya.
Cody: Do you want to go up to the smoothie bar to get some snacks and I'll stay here with Captain?
Me: Sure.
I got the food and started heading back to Cody, but before I got there a girl came running over to me.
Caroline: Hi I'm Caroline.
Me: Hi I'm Mckinsey.
Caroline: So are you knew around here?
Me: Ya I just moved in a couple days ago.
Caroline: Cool maybe we could hang out some time.
Me: Ya sure.
I walked back to Cody and gave him his food.
Cody: Finally what took you so long?
Me: I was talking to someone.
Cody: Sure. You were gone so long you missed your dog being bad.
Me: Hey Captain isn't bad, he's special.
Cody laughed.
Cody: Ya keep telling yourself that sister.
Me: I will.
I responded in a cocky voice as my brother just rolled his eyes and we started to walk home, because it was getting dark.
When we got home I went up to my room and looked out my window over to Jacob's house. I saw Jacob walked over to his window and I quickly ducked down before he saw me, because I didn't really want him to think I was a creepy stocker.
A few seconds later I heard something at my window. I walked over to my window and Jacob was sitting on the roof, I quickly opened my window and yell whisper or whatever you want to call it.
Me: Jacob what are you doing on my roof?
Jacob: Funny I have a question for you to.
Me: Really.
Jacob: Ya, I just wanted to know why you ducked down as soon as I walked over to my window.
Me: You saw that? (I said in a nervous voice)
Jacob: Yup.
Me: Oh.
As he was sitting there I couldn't help but stare into his bright brown eyes.
Jacob: So are just going to let me fall off the roof and die eventually or are you going to let me in?
Me: What, sorry, you can come in.
He crawled through my window and saw Captain, he walked over to him and started petting him.
Jacob: Is this you dog?
Me: No I stole him from the little boy across the street. (We both laughed)
Jacob: Haha very funny.
Me: Oh I know, I just love being a comedian. (We both busted out laughing)
Me: Sorry I get crazy when I'm tired.
Jacob laughed and I heard someone coming. I grabbed Jacob and quickly shoved him out the window and closed it before he could say anything. The second I turned around my dad opened the door.
Dad: Hey sweetie I have to go to work tonight and I won't be home till noon tomorrow. Your mom should get off work in just a couple hours, so it will just be you and Cody.
Me: Okay.
He closed the door and I ran back to the window and opened it, but didn't see Jacob. I looked down and saw him in the pool. I quickly ran outside to the pool with a towel.
Me: Oh my god, are you okay?
Jacob: Well, I've been better. A lot of bad things have happened to me before, but I have to say being thrown out of the window into the pool by my neighbour is the first.
Me: Are you sure, because I didn't think I would be okay if I just got thrown out the window by the crazy lady next door.
We both just laughed and I walked with Jacob back to his house.
