~ the next day
I got up and walked over to Mckinsey's house. I knocked on the door and Cody opened it.
Cody: Sup.
Me: Is Mckinsey here?
Cody: Ya, I'll go get her.
He walked upstairs and a few minutes later Mckinsey came down.
Mckinsey: Well that's surprising, you usually just come to my window.
Me: Well I figure I would try and avoid being punched off the roof again.
We both laughed and she looked at the ground trying to hide her smile.
Mckinsey: So your not mad at me?
Me: No, I don't even think I'm mad at Josh. I'm just mad at the world.
Mckinsey: Why?
Me: I don't know, I guess I just needed to be mad at something else if you know you I mean.
We both sat there in silence and the only thing I could hear was a quiet ringing.
Mckinsey look over at me and I looked into her bright blueish green eyes, then I just leaned closer to her and kissed her.
(Mckinsey's P.O.V)
Before I could say anything Jacob's soft lips touch mine.
There was a part of me that wanted to pull away because I was unsure if I wanted to start dating yet, but I also missed Jacob so much.
Jacob released from the kiss and had kind of a nervous look on his face.
Jacob: I'm so sorry, I don't know what I was thinking.
Me: It's okay.
Jacob: I'm not trying to rush you I promise, I just wasn't thinking.
Me: It's okay Jacob, it was just a kiss.
Jacob: I know but, I don't want to rush you or end up hurting you.
Me: Jacob, your not going to hurt me.
Jacob looked at the floor and I grabbed his hand. He looked up at me and rapped me in his arms as was sat there in silence.
