The next morning I got up went through the school day as usual.

~after school

Caroline: So are you ready to get ready for prom.
Me: Not really.
Caroline: Oh come on it will be fun.
Me: Okay fine.
Caroline: Hey and you never know, maybe Jacob will be there with his friends.
Me: Ya ya be quiet.
Caroline: Just saying.

We both go ready for prom and did our makeup and stuff.

Once we were done getting ready we went to the school and by that time it was 7:00pm.
Caroline and I just hung out until she went to hang out with her boyfriend. I just sat in a corner hoping no one would notice me, well that's kind of a lie the only person I wanted to notice me was Jacob, but he looked to busy hanging out with other girls and some of the football team.
The whole reason I didn't want to go was because I didn't want to get ditched for some guy I've never even met. I don't even know what I was thinking I'm just the new girl that on one knows and Jacob is way to popular to hang out with me anyways.
I just went outside and sat on the bench next to the water fountain.

(Jacob's P.O.V)

Random girl 1: Jacob dance with me.
Random girl 2: Ewww don't go with her come with me.
Alexis ( Jacob's Ex): Please the only one Jacob would go for is me.
Jacob: Ya right you wish, Mckinsey is way prettier and nicer then you.
Alexis: whatever your obviously not the guy I thought you were.
Jacob: Well I'm sorry I didn't turn out to be the jerk you though I was.
Alexis: Whatever I'm done.
A bunch of random girls: Jacob!
Jacob: Ladies ladies can we all just calm down, go find someone else to pick on.

I saw Mckinsey walk outside and she looked sad, I pushed all these random girls away from me so I could get to Mckinsey. I walked over to her and her eyes were a little watery.

Me: Hey what's wrong?
Mckinsey: Nothing.
Me: Come I know you better than that.
Mckinsey: Jacob you don't have to pretend to like me.
Me: What are you talking about?
Mckinsey: You and I are nothing alike, your a popular football player and I'm nobody here.
Me: Woah, what are you talking about?
Mckinsey: There are way prettier girls than me. (A tear ran down her cheek and sadness rushed through my body I hate seeing her sad)
Me: What are you talking about, your the prettiest girl I've ever seen and I really like you. I just didn't think you felt the same way.

(Mckinsey's P.O.V)

Before I could say anything else Jacob smashed our lips together. I felt fireworks, it was the best feeling in the world. Jacob broke the kiss and kissed my forehead.

Jacob: Mckinsey I really really like you.
Me: Jacob I really really like you to.

We both just kind of laughed and Jacob pulled me closer to him.

Jacob: Do you wanna go back to my house?
Me: Sure.

We both started walking home and Jacob slipped his hand into mine.
