1 hour later I heard Caroline at the door, I ran downstairs and let her in and we went up to my room.

Me: So, what do you want to do?
Caroline: I don't care.
Me: Well my mom got pizza, do you want to go get some?
Caroline: Sure.

We both went downstairs and got some pizza and drinks and went back to my room.

Caroline: Let's talk.
Me: Okay what do you want to talk about?
Caroline: Jacob. (And she lifted her eyebrow)
Me: Why Jacob?
Caroline: I don't know, seems fun.
Me: Okay fine. What do you want to know?
Caroline: How close are you to?
Me: Not very, I mean last night I pushed him off the roof but other then that.
Caroline: You pushed him off the roof?
Me: On accident. Why do you always ask questions about him anyways?
Caroline: If I tell you, you have to promise you won't tell anyone.
Me: Deal.
Caroline: I like Jacob.
Me: You do? (I said kind of shocked because I also kind of like Jacob, but I didn't want to hurt her feelings, so I said the first thing that came to my mind) You should tell him. (I said regretting as soon as I said it)
Caroline: Really.
Me: Ya.
Caroline: Okay your right, I'm going to tell him tomorrow.

The next morning we went to school and I just went straight to all my classes.
It was finally lunch time and I saw Caroline walking up to me, but she looked sad.

Me: Hey what's wrong?
Caroline: Jacob doesn't feel the same way about me.
Me: I'm really sorry.
Caroline: It's okay. He said he has feelings for someone else.
Me: Who?
Caroline: I don't know, he wouldn't tell me. I'm just going to go home.
Me: Are you sure?
Caroline: Ya.

It had been 3 days and Caroline still hasn't left her room, so I decided to go to her house and talk to her.

Me: Hey Caroline.
Caroline: Hey.
Me: Look, I know you really like Jacob, but you can't hide in your room for the rest of your life.
Caroline: I know but.
Me: Look, sometimes the people we like don't like us back and it's painful, but there's nothing we can do about it.
Caroline: You don't understand.
Me: I do understand. I know what it's like when someone says they don't feel the same way about you, someone you can't stop thinking about, it hurts, but you can't make people like you.
Caroline: I don't just like him though.
Me: I know, but love isn't about grand gestures or the moon and the stars it's just dumb luck and sometimes you meet someone who feels the same way and then sometimes your unlucky, but one day your gonna meet someone who appreciates you for who you are. I mean there's 7 billion people on the planet.
Caroline: Okay your right.
Me: So are you going to school on Monday?
Caroline: Ya I guess.
