effie turned to face the boy she met at his company's building. she looked at him as her eyes adjusted to the light coming from behind the door to the practice room. effie laughed as she remembered the meeting, although she had no cookies, effie wanted to get back her things she left a few days ago.
"yeah. at least a cookie isn't stuffed into my mouth this time," effie chuckled as her mouth watered when thinking of the cookie.
"yeah," the singer laughed at the memory. "at least a bare-faced me isn't standing in front of you this time."
effie shook her head, "you looked fine." he looked at the ground, obviously blushing as his ears were drowning in the colour red.
"i- uh," he took a little while to speak, still looking at the ground while fiddling with his small hands. "could i maybe? i don't know-"
effie turned her head to the side, almost not catching what he was saying since he was basically whispering, "yeah?"
the boy whose name was renjun, sighed and reached into his back pocket, and then threw flower petals up in the air that was kept in jean pocket, "get your number?"
effie stared at the pink petals that floated down then stared at renjun, "impressive."
renjun gave her a smile, "i mean, of course. this is me we're talking about."
effie rolled her eyes and held out her hand for his phone, "sure, bud."
he gave her the phone and after entering her number into his device, she helped him pick up the petals that were stewn all over the corridor, since he didn't want to 'get his ass beaten,' as he put it.
"i'll be expecting an even more impressive text conversation from you then?"
renjun rubbed his arm as he went back to his shy, yet powerful self, "of course, my lady. bye," he waved at her as she left.
once she was out of sight, johnny peered around the corner, "i told you it works."
