Me and Shane were watching a horror movie.

I have been in Stardew Valley for almost year now, and already feel like part of the community! I'm almost done with the community center, I donated a few items to the Library, and I even made a few best friends! One of them being Shane of course. I feel like out of all my friends, Shane is the best! He's nice, funny(sometimes), and is very trusting! I'm very lucky to have such a bond with him!

Me and him were watching our horror movie. It was about a city getting infected with zombies.

"Man...this movie gets boring after a while...don't you agree?" Shane asked.

"Y-yeah! Totally!!!" I said quivering under the blankets. Scary movies are NOT my type.

Shane chuckled and then got up.
"Welp...I'm going to go get another beer...don't pee yourself while I'm gone!" Shane said as he left the room.

I rolled my eyes as he left the room. I can take care of myself! I need to show him who's boss! I mean, he thinks of me as a child I bet! Time to show him whose a scardy cat!

I got out from under the blankets and tried to look cool. Like the movie didn't affect me in any way! Then, I heard a knock at the door.

"Hmm...Oh noooo...I'LL get it even though YOU'RE closer to the door!!!" I yelled at Shane from the other room.

I heard him laughing from the kitchen as I sadly went up to the door.

As I went up to the door, I heard some moaning from the other side. Weird huh? I decided to just look through the peep hole to make sure it wasn't some late-night drunken weirdo. Like Shane...

I looked out the peep hole and it SHOCKED ME...I saw Emily on the other side of the door. She had green skin, red stains on her clothes, and white pupils. She looked undead AND weirder then she usually looked.

"Uhhhh...S-Sh-Sh-SH" I stammered.

I then let out a blood curtling "Shane" so loud enough to make him drop his beer. I heard it crash on the floor. Great...another thing to clean up...

"What's going on!?!" Shane asked as he ran to the front door.

I pointed to the peep hole to indicate for him to look through. He looked through and took a step back. I saw his eyes start to tear up as he sat down on the couch. He finally came to his senses and stood up.

"We need to leave...NOW!" He told.

"Wh-what do you mean!?! We need to get Jas and Marnie and...Whoever else isn't infected!!!" I said.

"We can't...they're most likely affected...You have'nt read up about zombies like I have, but if there's 1 zombie, there's most likely more..." Shane said.

This was getting serious. He wasn't his usual funny-depressing self. He had the most serious look I've ever seen.

"B-but where do we go!?! The door's being gaurded by Emily and there's no back door!" I asked.

"We'll go out the window..." He suggested.

"Alright..." I agreed.

We both ran to the window, making sure to make the littlest noise as we could possible could. We looked out the window. It was dark outside, and the window was facing the back of the house, so all I could see was the mountain side and a few trees.

"I'll go first," Shane said.

Shane opened the window and climbed out. He held onto the window as he slowly made his way down. It was slippery, because it was winter. He then slid off the roof and landed on the ground. Good thing I was planning on upgrading my house to second story next week.

He then looked up at me and signaled me to slide off as well.

The moment I stepped on the roof I slid. I didn't realize how slippery it was. The cold winter must've made the roof a little icy.

I slid off the roof and before I knew it, I was falling. I closed my eyes and braced for impact, but I did not feel the hard ground. I felt someone's arms. It was Shane's(suprise suprise)...

I opened my eyes and looked at Shane. Even in the dark, I saw him secretly blushing.

"Uhh...be more careful next time! Ok?" He asked.

"Yeah yeah...you can...let me down now..." I said.

"Good...cause' you were starting to get heavy!" Shane mocked as he set me down.

We sneaked by Emily who was still scratching at the door to go to the little path that led into the town. When we were going by the path, I saw some moving. It was Hailey and Alex! They were both also green and had blood on their clothes. They had some sort of limp as well.

Shane looked and saw the horror in my face.

"Y/N...DON'T..." He warned.

I let out another blood curtling scream as the zombies looked at me. It was only then I realized that we were only a few meters away from the house.

Emily looked our way and started to limp forward as well.

"Oh...DANGIT!!! Why did you have to scream!!!" Shane yelled.

"I-I was scared! Give me a break! It's not everyday that you're FEARING FOR YOUR LIFE!!!" I yelled back.

"Ugh!!! There's not enough time!!!" Shane yelled. He grabbed a stick and broke it in half to make the stick a little sharper.

"Go!!! Get on the bus and go to Calico Desert!" Shane ordered.

"WHAT!?! There's no way that I'm leaving without you Shane!" I said stubbornly.

"Y/N...Listen...To be honest...You were the only one that understood me...you helped me from my depression! If you were'nt there on the day thay I got seriously drunk, I would've rolled off that cliff and died. You saved me...now let me save you!" Shane told.

I froze. I didn't know what to do. I could'nt leave him here! More or less, let him get infected.

The zombies were moving closer. I still didn't move.

"MOVE Y/N!!!" Shane yelled as he pushed me away.

I fell toward the ground. I could'nt move. I was paralized from fear as I saw the zombies move closer to him.

He backed away from them toward the opposite side of the path. I heard him saying, "Get back" and "I'll stab you right in the neck". Before then, I heard the screams. The screams of my best friend being eaten alive.

I could'nt move. My eyes just watched. I could'nt look away. I then grabbed the other part of the stick that he threw in the bush and ran up to them.

"GET AWAY FROM HIM!!!" I yelled.

The zombies looked back and backed up. There were scratches on his face and torn up clothing. Bite marks everywhere. I looked at him and started to cry. My friend was gone...forever...

He then started to rise up. Like a vampire coming out of his coffin. He then screamed a terrifying noise. I screamed right after him, but what I noticed was that it wasn't a scream. It was a LAUGH. ALL the zombies were laughing.

"HAHA!!! We got you GOOD!!!" Alex laughed.

"Wow!!! I have'nt had a laugh like that in ages!!!" Hailey chuckled.

"This was a good idea Shane!!!" Emily said.

I was in shock. I just got pranked from all four of them. I should've been mad...but I wasn't...

From what Shane had said before he pushed me, I knew that that part, wasn't acting.

I then started to laugh with them. They stopped laughing and looked at me strangly.

"Uhh...why are you laughing?" Shane asked.

"Because! I'm just thinking of all the things I can do to get you all back!!!" I said while giggling.

They all looked at eachother. It's gonna be a bumpy ride for them, and I can promise that.
