I apologize for not updating in a while, college consumes my life. This is short. Enjoy.

Picture perfect memories
Scattered all around the floor
Reaching for the phone 'cause, I can't fight it anymore
And I wonder if I ever cross your mind
For me it happens all the time

It had been a week. A full week without the love of her life.

7 days. 168 hours. 10,080 minutes. 604,800 seconds, without her.

Camila didn't know how to feel. There were days where she felt like she wanted to punch Lauren in the face for leaving her like that. There were days where she felt like the world was standing on her shoulders and the crushing weight would cause her knees to buckle any minute. There were days where she couldn't stand anything and the slightest thing could send her into a fit of annoyance.

Today was one of those days where she was ready for her knees to buckle.

And they did, just in a different way.

Camila had gotten home from a long day of work (she loves her job, she loves teaching little kids, but right now she can't stand anything). She pulled out her phone and went through all of the pictures of her and Lauren.

Every single one of them. And there was a lot.

She swipes across to a picture that breaks her heart. She's kissing Lauren's cheek with her eyes closed and Lauren is smiling like a three-year-old with candy.

It's one of the first pictures they ever took together. And it was Camila's background, and that makes her heartache. It clenches. She feels the stinging pain of how much she loved Lauren and how much her leaving hurts. She feels the last few months of her life, her happiness, crumbling in her hands. She feels like everything she's ever known is wrong.

Hot tears run down her cheeks and she can't help but let out a heart-wrenching sob.

It's a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need you now
Said I wouldn't call but I lost all control and I need you now
And I don't know how I can do without, I just need you now

Seven hours and multiple glasses of wine later. Camila is sitting on her bedroom floor (it used to be hers and Lauren's and that thought keeps haunting Camila) with pictures of them printed out across the floor.

It didn't take much longer after that for Camila to switch out of the photos app and head for Lauren's number.

Within seconds she was dialing the number with uncontrollable tears pouring down her face.

She didn't expect Lauren to answer. She didn't answer Camila's previous attempts to talk to her so why would she now?

Nonetheless, Camila still had hope. She knew why Lauren left. They both knew. They wanted different things. And that sucked. Because it was one of those situations where it was the right person the wrong time.

But that also terrified Camila. Because those situations don't always have the person you love to come back.

Camila's thoughts are cut off by Lauren's voice.

"Hello?"

Camila freezes she didn't actually think Lauren would answer.

"Camila?" Lauren asks again but Camila still doesn't say anything. She's afraid too, she doesn't want to word vomit all her feelings.

"I-I need you," Camila manages to squeak out.

"Camila, I told you not to call."

"I know, I know, I just, I-I can't," Camila pause to gather her thoughts, " I don't know how I can, I just. I need you, Lauren."
