Chapter 12

Jake's hand intertwined with mine as we sat in the bullpen, laughing at what Charles just said.
"All right listen up!" Sarge yelled as I turned our attention to him.
"There's a rumor the new captain'll be here today. Now, I don't know who Wuntch is sending us, but it doesn't matter, because we're a family, we're strong, and together, we can do anything." We all nodded along.
"Nine-Nine!" Sarge yelled.
"Nine-Nine!" We all cheered along.
"What's up, ding-dongs?" Everyone gasped around me.
"I'm your new captain."
"The Vulture." Jake said.
"No."
"Still hot." Rosa mumbled.
"Now, I know we have our history, me vulturing your cases, me telling you to eat my farts, but that's all in the past, 'cause now that I run this precinct, things are gonna get much, much worse... So suck it!" Vulture yelled before walking out.
"No!" Jake yelled out.

Jake's head was in my chest groaning as I tried to get paperwork done, which was hard.
"Jake, baby. Groaning in my breasts isn't going to help the situation."
"But babe! He is evil! Lucifer isn't as bad as him!" Jake replied.
"We'll figure out something tonight but for right now." I took out my wallet.
"Go get a snack." I handed him a dollar as he smiled widely.
"Thanks babe!" He kissed my cheek before running off as I laughed.
"Hey, Elizabeth." I looked up to see Amy as I shifted in my seat.
"Hey." I mumbled.
"Look." She grabbed Jake's chair pulling it over.
"I-I should've told you about the undercover case, I wouldn't of kissed Jake, if it wasn't to keep our cover. I'm sorry, Elizabeth." Amy said.
I picked at my nail polish, before looking up at her.
"No. I'm sorry, I shouldn't of made a big deal outta it."
"No. You had every right to be... Can we be friends again? I miss talking to you." Amy said as I smiled.
"Of course." I said as we hugged.
"How about I take Sam tonight, so you and Jake can have alone time." Amy offered doing her weird eyebrow movement.
"Sure, thanks Ames." I said.
"Anytime." She smiled as Jake came back.
"Babe, look what I..." Jake stopped looking between us.
"Did you two make up?" We nodded.
"Did you make out?"
I grabbed the apple from my desk throwing it at his head.
"Ow! I was kidding... Big meanie." Jake mumbled as Amy and I both burst out laughing.

Jake and I laid cuddled in my bed as the tv played quietly in the background.
It was currently 10:27pm, and I we were just enjoying each other's company.
"Babe." I looked up at him.
"Hmm?"
"I-I was thinking we should maybe me...in...with...each...other." I sat up quickly.
"You-You sure?" I asked him.
"Yeah, I-I mean. I'm all ways over and Sam loves me but if you don't think." I cut him off pressing my lips on his.
I pulled away slowly with a smile on my face.
"I would love for you to move in... But, don't you think we're moving a little too fast?" I asked him.
"I mean yeah... But I love you Elizabeth, and Sam." Tears whelmed in my eyes.
"I love you too." I said crawling ontop of him, pressing my lips onto his as he smiled.
