Andrea's POV

My body hurt so badly it was hard to focus. I'm fairly certain if my right arm could fall off, it would, it was throbbing so badly. Reaching up to touch my lips, I could still feel my skin humming with the electricity of his lips on mine.

My head was swimming with all sorts of questions. Jared just said he loves me... what in the world is happening? This is one bizarre dream.

"What happened...  and why did Jared Leto just kiss me?" I asked, looking directly at my mother. My head felt like it weighed a ton as I turned toward the handsome blue eyed man hovering above me. Those eyelashes of his are to die for..

"You love me?" I questioned.

Acting as if my words were a slap across his stunning face. His breathtaking smile fell as sat back, staring at me with furrowed eyebrows, "Of course I love you. Why would you ask me that?"

"Honey, you don't remember Jared?"

Questions, more questions. Bringing my uninjured arm up to rub my head, I gasped, feeling a gauze bandage. Following the path with my fingers, I realized it was a fairly small bandage covering my temple and part of my forehead.

"Of course I remember Jared, he's one of my favorite artists! But that doesn't tell me why he's here. Or why I am here." I replied, doing my best to massage the left side of my head to ease the full throb that was building rapidly.

"Andrea Leigh Leto, if this is some kind of sick joke you stop it right now." My mother scolded, pointing her finger at me as if I were still a child.

"Leto? What.. ahhh!"  Suddenly, a sharp, searing pain struck the left side of my head.

Muffled words floated through the room as my eyes fluttered open again. Groaning in pain, I held my head and attempted to sit up. My attempt only made the room spin. Laying back against the pillow, my eyes drifted from my parents, who was speaking to a petite woman, a physician, I assumed. Tearing my gaze from them, I looked at Jared, who was once again sitting next to me on the bed. He gently held my hand, staring at me as I lay there.

"Hi, Baby." Jared cooed, kissing the back of my hand.

I'd be lying if I said my heart didn't skip a beat when he spoke to me. His big eyes, so blue, so kind, so mesmerizing. Hearing him call me baby made me a little light headed, but it also felt foreign. Dropping my eyes to our intertwined hands, I was amazed by the tingling sensation I felt. I wondered quietly if that was a normal occurrence for us. Jared gripped my hand a little tighter, pulling my attention back to his face. Nodding his head, a small smile pulling at the corner of his lips as if he was answering my unspoken question.

"Well, I guess this isn't a weird dream." I sighed, pulling my hand away.

"No, Andrea. I'm afraid it isn't." The small woman replied. Standing from a chair next to my mother, she glided toward me. "I am Dr. Ahmadian, your neurologist. My nurse tells me you're having some memory issues."

"I didn't think I was, but apparently I am."

Dr. Ahmadian nodded, "Okay, let's start with an easy question, who are these people in the room with you?" Placing her small hands on the railing of my bed, her deep brown eyes met mine as she waited patiently for my answer.

"They are my mother and father." I replied, pointing at my parents. Nodding at Jared I added, "He is an incredible musician and actor, Jared Leto. But I have no idea why he's here..." the memory of his lips on my earlier sent a wave a goosebumps over my skin. "You kissed me earlier." I whispered, bringing my left hand to my lips.
