Chapter 19 : Harsh Reality

The next day....
[Time 3:00am]

"... And that's what happened."
The doctor explained.

"She's going to live right?"
Taehyung muttered, disorientated.

"Of course she will stupid!"
Jisoo chuckled while tears rolled down her eyes.

"We can't predict anything about it as for now. But we are all trying to-"

"Okay that's fine."
Irene mumbled and turned towards her friends.
"I'll go find Jennie.Take care of yourselves!"
She commanded before running away.

Irene searched for Jennie everywhere but the latter seems nowhere to be found.
She walked towards the balcony which was at the back of the hospital which was her last hope.

She finally saw Jennie but to her surprise another person was with her.

"Nayoen?"
She asked as she walked towards them.

"Oh Irene! Come join us!"
Nayoen offered as she opened her arms.

The sight of Jennie crying bitterly broke her heart.

She didn't waste a second to join Jennie and Irene.

She couldn't understand the pain Jennie is feeling right now since she herself is unsure of what is happening.
Everything was like a dream to her and it still is like a dream to her.

Irene and Nayoen was there to comfort Jennie but instead, it turned out that, both of them were a crying mess along with Jennie.

"Everything will be fine.This is all a dream."
Nayoen spoke.

"If this is a dream please wake me up"
Irene half heartedly scoffed.

They continued to encourage each other not minding the tears flowing down like a river.

'But this particular girl, Jennie was 'silent all throughout.

Her mind was pretty much occupied of the things happening like in the blink of an eye.

Yet, her heart was not yet ready to see the reality. Harsh reality.
