Chapter 25 : Only for Lisa

Taehyungs P.O.V

"What are you staring at Tae?"
Joy asked me as she sipped her cup of coffee.

"Nothing! Ah! I'm just wondering about something!"
I reasoned out.

"Well fine then!"
She smirked.

Just then Lisa joined us as she sat on the sofa. With....an annoyed face I would say.

"What's wrong babe!"
Joy asked and I lifted my gaze to unnie.

"It's Jennie."
She sighted.

"Well what about her?"
I questioned.

"I don't know what's up with her."
Lisa scoffed.

"I think she needs some time alone babe. Let's not force her."
Joy held Lisa's hand.

"No. It's not that. If anything ever happened she would never hesitate to tell me. She's just acting strange."
Lisa coldly said.

"Joy I'm really sorry. I'll make it sure that she will apologize for it."
Lisa said.

"How many times do I tell you babe. Its fine. It doesn't matter much to me."
Joy spoke.

I sat their listening to their conversations until I decided to search for Jennie.

I looked all over the rooms and I found her in her room.

She was probably sleeping.

Or so I thought.

"Jennie?"
I called out.

Jennie's P.O.V

"Jennie?"
I heard Taehyung calling me.

I turned towards him.

He smiled at me and cupped my cheeks.

"Is my Jennie sleepy?"
He asked.

"No.....I'm just bored."
I faked a smile.

He looked at me for a moment.

"Do you want to talk about it?"
He held my hand.

"About what?"
I asked as I sat up.

"Come on Jennie. Just share with me. I promise you I will believe you."
He complained.

As if like he will.

After I tell him, he will not believe me like everybody else.

I hesitated to tell him.

"What if I tell you that I didn't do it? That I didn't say anything to Joy?"
I mumbled.

"You really didn't?"
He asked.

I shooke my head.

He continued to stare at me so i ended up telling everything to him.

"It's fine Jennie! Lisa will have to apologize to you now!"
He said while hugging me.

What?

"N-no don't......I mean."
I stammered.

"What do you mean?"
He asked perplexed.

"Don't tell it to Lisa unnie!"
I whispered.

"Why? Are you telling me not to tell Lisa so that she will continue to believe that Joy ?"
He exclaimed.

I looked down.

If Lisa unnie knew the truth she will hate Joy.

And that means Joy will hurt unnie.

And I can't let that happen.

No.

"Why Jennie?"
He asked again.

No.

I won't let anything happen to Lisa.

Even if it will hurt me, I will bear it.

Only for Lisa.

"J-just don't Tae! Please! I beg you!"
I whispered as tears rolled down my eyes.

"Hey! Look at me Jen. I don't understand you!"
He mumbled.

"Tae! I can't tell it to you...please understand me. Once it is done, I promise I will explain everything to you. Just trust me on this one. I-i beg you. J-just for this time..."
I sobbed.

He hugged me and mumbled.

"Okay Jennie. But I hope you will tell me everything that happens. Remember I'm always with you. I love you.".
He kissed me temple.

"Thank you"
Was all that I could mumble.
