Chapter 27 : I owe you

"Lis!"

"Lisa!"

"Lisa unnie!"

I jolted up from my dreams with the face of Jennie welcoming me.

"Unnie Joy has been calling you."
She uttered as she handed me my phone.

I yawned as I took the phone from her.

"Hello?"
I said as I arranged my hair.

"Good morning babe!"
Joy spoke on the other line.

"Good morning Joy!"
I smiled although Joy couldn't see me. But I saw Jennie frowning from the corner of my eye.

Or was I just overthinking and seeing things?

"Babe I'm waiting for you downstairs. Come fast! I miss you!"
She sweetly said.

"You are so unexpected!"
I teased.

"Whatever! Better make it fast honey!"
She reminded.

"Okay okay bye!"
I hung up the call.

Why was she calling me when she is just one floor away?

Anyways,
She was always unexpected.

"Good morning Jen!"
I hugged my princess from her back as she was faced the other side.

She remained silent for awhile before speaking,"Good morning Lis!"

"How did you sleep?"
I asked as she turned towards me.

"It was fine."
She mumbled and I swear my heart melted at the sight.

How can she be so cute without even trying to?

"Good!"
I smiled as kissed the tip of her nose while my other hand was caressing her back.

"Shall we head downstairs now?"
I asked while giving her small kisses.

"Is Joy calling you?"
She asked.

"How did you know?"
I asked her back.

She looked at me.
"Anyways, let's go!"

She stood up from the bed.

I also followed her and got up from the bed.

Jennie's P.O.V

"Honey!"
Joy shouted and I cringed hearing her voice.

She made her way towards Lisa with the smirk in her face.

I rolled my eyes.

"I know you missed me babe"
Lisa sweetly said as she kissed Joy.

'Babe' the endearment which I hate. Except when Lisa calls me that.

I thought that was only meant for me.

"Yes I must admit it. I missed you so much!"
Joy cutely said.

If you knew that you will miss her why didn't you go to Lisa's bedroom yesterday?

"Well I missed you too!"
Lisa said and that made me look at her.

I was with you yesterday Lis.

I saw it.

And I could feel it.

The sincerity in Lisa's eye whenever she spoke with Joy.

The way she smiles at her.

The way she holds her.

The way she kisses her.

Lisa is really in love with her.And I hope Joy is also.

But what is this foreign felling that i'm having?

I don't know.

Joy has made me realize many things.

I was only looking at things from my point of view. And why was I jealous of Joy? I was Lisa's sister and why would a sister be jealous of her sister's girlfriend?

I feel like I'm just so stupid to be in this position.

But Joy is Lisa's girlfriend.

She is also not supposed to be jealous of me either. Why would someone be jealous of her girlfriend's sister?

But why am I also jealous of her?

I don't understand this.

We had our breakfast and Joy was being so clingy to Lisa. I hate to admit this but why am I hurting?

"Hey Joy?"
I went to her.

She looked at me squinting her eyes.
"Yes?"

"Can we talk?"
I pleaded her.

She seemed unsure but she motioned me towards the balcony so I stood up and headed towards it.

"What is it?"
She asked.

"I'm sorry for being mean to you!"

I knew that I'm apologizing for no reason.

I mean, being rude to her is the only thing that I did.

She chuckled.
"Are you not tired?"

"Tired of ?"
I asked.

"Tired of pretending to be her sister? Don't play innocent Jennie!"
She coldly said.

"What are you talking about?"
I asked again.

"Stay away from Lisa... If you want her all fine."
She said before leaving.

What the hell did she say.

Why will I pretend to be her sister when I am her real sister.

As much as I want to sort out things with Joy for Lisa, I can't because it breaks me.

But I can't be on bad terms with Lisa's girlfriend.

I owe you so much Lisa.

And I will do anything to keep you safe.
