"So what? Y'all have crazy ass sex all the time now?" Sloan rolled her eyes at me as I pulled my shirt over my head, hiding the handprint bruises that littered my body.
"Not that it's really any of your business, but yes." I giggled as I flopped onto the bed with her, a smile on her face as she watched me.
"I'm happy your happy Mil, I am." I could tell by the tone in her voice that there was a 'but' coming, but I smiled back, waiting for her response. "I just - he wants to move to LA and you-" I quickly looked away from her, not wanting her to say the words.
"I know, I fucking completely get it." I ran my hands through my hair, the rush of emotions making me angry, rather than sad. No one made me feel the way this wild boy did, and it was something I didn't completely understand, nor trust. "Slim is your person, y'all have a connection I've never seen in my life, and when I'm with Colson, I feel like he gets me." I took a deep breath, watching as her look softened knowing how much I was already falling for this crazy Wild Boy.
"Have y'all talked about things?" I shook my head, playing with the ends of my hair. "Mil you can't just ignore the feelings you have for him." I rolled my eyes at how easy she made it sound. "Y'all have plans tonight, right?" I nodded, we'd planned to go to a club show, just a bunch of newbies tryna get a fan base, i was hoping Colson would also preform. "Why don't you tell him tonight, admit that it's more than sex to you." I shook my head as I closed my eyes.
"Sloan there's more to us than you or the guys know." She cocked her head to the side, confusion laced in her green orbs. "He's been sneaking in my window for a while now, and it's not always to fuck. Most of the time he bares his soul to me. He cries to me, he's not the Machine Gun Kelly he's known as around me. It's never just been sex." Sloan's face softened as she looked down, reaching her hand for mine.
"You know you'll always be my person, over Brandon, over the whole fucking world." She said softly, before looking back up at me. "I'm sorry for how I've been acting, and for assuming I knew everything bout y'all." I smiled softly as I pulled her down on the bed in a hug, knowing she only wanted what's best for me.
"How about we go get coffee and then start getting ready for the show tonight." I suggested making her smile and she held me tightly. "Come on, Bink, before you squeeze all the air outta me." We both giggled as we got up, i threw on Colson's Blink shirt and a pair of black gym shorts, slipping on some flip flops while Sloan was already dressed in black tight shorts and a yellow top.
"You think we'll see the boys on the way?" I knew she was talking about the newly established watch at the end of our street, the boys seemed to be there often, along with the scary gang members Colson always kept me away from. I shrugged as we grabbed our bags and headed out the door, locking it behind us.
"Not sure, I know they were going to practice some new songs Colson wrote a few weeks ago." Sloan nodded as we made our way down the street, seeing all the neighborhood kids playing in the yards, the older kids running through the streets. "You think the boys joined em or something?" I looked over at Sloan as she kicked some free rocks.
"With how often they've been on the watch, I'm not sure." As we approached the Watch area, I felt my stomach drop. A black bandana was tied around Colson's neck, as well as Brandon's matching the scary men that sat next to them.
"Aye ladies." One of them men winked, as both Colson and Brandon stood.
"Mack, this is Mil, my girlfriend." Sloan and I snapped our heads to each other, a stupid smile fighting to spread across my face as Colson threw his arm around my shoulder. "This is Sloan, her best friend and-" Brandon cut him off.
