Colson POV

"I understand, but where the fuck is she?" I growled as Mack sat in a chair beside the hospital bed I had been forced to stay in.

"She's a few doors down. Natty is in with her, she's doing fine considering." Mack took a deep breath as he covered his mouth with his hands. "She suffered major injuries Colson." I laid back, closing my eyes as the night before ran through my head. She had done nothing wrong. we had outran the car following us. What had gone wrong?

"What did they say her injuries were? Did they find anything at the scene?" I had been lucky to walk away with only a broken wrist, and some gashes from the glass.

"Colson, I don't think we should tell you until you're allowed to see her." His words made every hair on my body stand on end. What had happened to her? "But Brandon and Sloan are doing fine, both only have minor concussions and small gashes from the windows breaking." I let out a breath I hadn't known I'd been holding. Knowing they were okay made my heart calm slightly. "They brought in the other kids from the car that hit you." Mack's words were tight, as if he was pissed. "They were 7.8 members." The words Amelia had repeated after the night with Banks and Jackson. "You're next." Mack stood, running his hands over his hair.

"Did they survive? Where are they?" Mack chuckled as he paced the room.

"One was DOA, the other had ran before any officers arrived." My blood boiled knowing one of the men was out there, while my Princess was laying in a hospital bed in the worst shape.

"I want to see her Mack. Now." I growled as the nurse came in. I glared at her as she smiled softly at me, moving her stool to the bedside.

"Good morning Colson. I'm Sarah, I'm your nurse, as well as Amelia's." My heart stopped as she held two files in her arms. "You, are going to be just fine Colson, your wrist was placed in a cast earlier today, and you should be released within the day." I nodded to her as she pulled the second file. "Amelia's mother wanted me to sit with you and go over this before I take you in to see her." I gulped as she placed on hand on mine. "She sustained the worst injuries out of the four of you in the car, as her side was hit directly." Mack shook his head as a scoff left his mouth. He had yet to stop pacing.

"What are her injuries? Is she going to-" I couldn't even finish the sentence, Sarah's eyes softened.

"Her injuries are severe, but she's going to be just fine Colson." I breathed out a sigh of relief as she flipped opened the chart, reading off her injuries. "She has three broken ribs which are wrapped and healing slowly, a minor concussion that should be better by the end of the week, a broken left femur which was placed into a cast this morning, a broken left wrist that was also placed into a cast, and gashes scattered that were stitched shut as well." My jaw dropped at the list. "Her recovery won't be easy Colson and she's going to need you every step of the way." I nodded as she pushed herself back, grabbing the wheelchair that had been in the corner of the room.

"I'm not riding in that. I can walk." I huffed as Sarah rolled her eyes and moved the chair to my bedside.

"If you want to see her, you will get in the chair. It's policy." She pointed causing Mack to laugh from the door. I rolled my eyes as I moved myself into the chair with a glare on my face. "Good boy, now lets go see this girl of yours." A smile formed at the thought of seeing her, even if she was in bad shape. Sarah pushed me slowly through the hall, where my eyes landed on Brandon and Sloan standing beside her room.

"Colson!" Sloan sighed out as she bent down to hug me. "Are you okay?" She asked, I nodded back to her as Brandon bent down, giving me a bro hug with a small smirk.

"Have you two seen her?" They both nodded as they looked at their feet. "Is she awake?" I asked again, to which they once again nodded.

"She's kind of out of it, but she's awake and talking." Sloan nodded to Sarah who began pushing me into the room. The lights were dim, but her blue eyes landed directly on me.

"Wild Boy?" Her voice was soft, broken, but every bit as beautiful as it always was. I smiled as I climbed out of the chair, and walked to her bedside.

"Princess." I whispered as she reached her right hand up to touch my face softly. "How ya feelin?" I asked as she chuckled softly.

"Like I got hit by a car." Everyone in the room chuckled softly with her as she scooted herself over, the pain in her eyes hurting me as she patted the space beside her.

"Get in loser, we're taking a nap." Sloan laughed loudly as Nat shook her head softly. I climbed into the bed, making sure not to hurt her as Sarah wrote down her vitals and checked over the wounds. "Are you okay?" She asked softly as she closed her eyes slowly.

"I'm fine, knowing you're fine makes everything okay Princess." She smiled, her eyes shut as she rolled her head into my chest. Even though she was plugged into machines, and most of her body was either in a cast or wrapped in bandages, she looked so perfect.

"Any news on the runaway?" Nat spoke to Mack, who stood in the doorway. Brandon kicked his shoe on the floor as he let out a breath.

"Banks was bragging about it yesterday, he thought she was-" He stopped himself, my arms loosely wrapped around Mil as the thought entered my mind. She could have died in that accident. The plan was for her to die.

"I've got patrol out all day and night; guards at the houses as well as outside the hospital and in the waiting rooms." Mack walked closer to Nat, wrapping his arm around her shoulder. "They won't get her Natty." He spoke softly as I traced lightly on Mil's arm.

"How did this happen Mack? Both Slim and I were with her, we out chased the car following us." I spoke softly as her breathing slowed, she was sleeping so peacefully. How could anyone want her hurt?

"They had a plan, one we didn't see coming. It won't happen again Kells, it won't." Mack growled slightly as I nodded. "Come on Natty, Kells will stay with her for the night. Let's get you home and relaxed." Natty kept her eyes on Mil, as if she couldn't leave her.

"I've got her Nat, I won't leave her side." Her face softened as she stood, coming to Mils side.

"I love you Sweet Girl, Mommy will be back tomorrow." She pressed a soft kiss to her head before walking to the door. "Goodnight Colson, keep her safe." I nodded to her she walked out of the room with Mack by her side.

"You better after seeing her?" Slim asked softly as I watched her, her face relaxed, he lips pouted slightly as she let out soft snores.

"Yeah, she's my world Bro." Sloan and Slim both smiled as they stood, saying their goodbyes to both Mil and I before leaving us alone. "Nothing will ever happen to you Princess. Never again." I whispered, pressing a soft kiss to her head before closing my eyes and drifting off to a peaceful sleep.
