"Stracci!" I call from my spot on the floor, my head under the Christmas tree he had set up for me the night he took me out, watching the lights dim and brighten so beautifully.

"Yes my Queen?" He quipped as he stepped into the room, a pizza box in his hands as he stops and stares at my choice of seating. "Are we okay?" He asks softly, slowly making his way to me, sitting down and placing the pizza box between us.

"I- yo- C-" I growled at myself as I rubbed my eyes, wishing I wasn't a complete fucking idiot around this man. "Fucking hell." I mumbled as he moved himself under the tree, his head inches from mine.

"He hasn't called, Mack's been trying to find him." He spoke softly, as if worried of my reaction to his words. Not the fact that he read my fucking mind or anything. "If he calls or is seen, I will tell you pronto." He nodded as his eyes traced up the tree, focusing on the twinkles.

"He's such a fucking asshole." I groan more to myself than anything, turning my head quickly to look at Stracci, who turned at the same time. Our faces were inches apart. As his moss green eyes locked onto mine, I couldn't help but lose any thought of Colson and focus on the man laying beside me. The man who didn't leave. His diamond shaped lips stared back at me, as if pulling me in. What am I thinking? I don't even know this mans real fucking name. I chuckle to myself at the thought, snapping Stracci from his own world.

"What's so funny, Dear?" He smirked as I shook my head, my filter apparently took a holiday as the next words fell from my mouth.

Blame the Patron you've been drowning yourself in all day.

"I can't stop staring at your eyes and your lips, yet I don't even know your real name." I chuckled just as it hit me what I had said. I closed my eyes tightly as I lolled my head to the other side, seeing the evil bottle and tossing more back just as his large rough hand gently turned me back to him.

"Giovanni." He whispered, taking me completely off guard as he stared into my blue orbs, as if trying to memorize every different swirl of blue beneath them. "Vanni for short." He adds with a wink as I smirk at him.

"Vanni." I whispered back as my hand reached up, wrapping around his wrist. "I like it." I add, making him smirk again as he chuckled. "Very Italian." I wink as he shakes his head, a glimmer in his eyes I can't quite place. We stayed, almost frozen just locked on the other, drinking in the moss green and ocean blue dancing in our eyes. Every breath he took made my heart stop. The only time I'd felt anything like this was on my birthday, when Colson held me so close, giving me a drug I didn't know I needed.

"Making our rounds now, huh, Princess?" A gruff voice pulls me from the bliss as I go to shoot up, banging my head into the tree branches.

"Ah fuck." I whimpered as Vanni pulled himself up, helping me to do the same, his eyes now locked on the lanky figure before us, my heart stopping at my eyes landed on Colson's tense body, his jaw clenched as he locked his eyes on me. Vanni's carefree look was gone, replaced now with a hard wall.

"Watch it, Kelly." Vanni spits as he pulls himself to his feet, reaching his hand out for me to take. As I went to take his, Colson's gruff voice made me freeze.

"Amelia." He growled as I snapped my eyes to look up at him. His eyes were bloodshot and dark circles surrounded them. "Don't." I felt anger boil in my body as I narrowed my eyes, and firmly placed my hand in Vanni's, pulling myself up. The rage in Colson's eyes only pushed me farther.

"What Colson? Tired of running away? Pissed that someone else was keeping my company?" I sneered as Vanni chuckled beside me. Colson stood silent, the rage dancing through the eyes I was trying so hard to get out of my head. "It's obvious you made yours." I hiss as my eyes land on a fresh purple hickey on his neck. Vanni slowly moves his hand to the base of my back, his presence the only thing keeping me from jumping on the lanky Wild Boy in front of me.
