Cathy's POV

Early morning I rose up from bed, took a quick warm shower then wore my clothes. I ate breakfast, just a peanut butter sandwich and orange juice before going to the fourth floor of the house (mansion rather), turning right after four meters, and after two meters, there's a hidden door. The knob is under the small table beside it. I turned it clockwise and entered another hallway. In the hallway are two doors, the one I'm going to and the other is Chapman's quarters.

So yeah, in short I went to Chapman's office.

It was fifteen minutes pass eight so I guess Chapman's inside doing work. Hopefully no one will be there since what I need to talk about with him is important and top secret.

I knocked on the door, four times with a rhythm. That rhythm told him it was me. I heard him call my name and let me inside his office.

Chapman's office was dominantly made out of wood. His table sat on the other side from the door. Two chairs were in front of it. On the left side of the room sits a couch and under it's cushions are unloaded firearms. There's another hidden door beside the couch that leads to Chapman's bedroom.

"Good morning CJ. What brings you here?" He inquires.

"Good morning to you too, Chap. I need to talk to you about something... very important." I walked a few steps closer to him.

He glanced at me. He clicked some stuff on his computer then rolling his chair so he was facing me. He gestured me to continue.

"About Allison." I paused, thinking where to start. "I've been noticing that there are these calls she has almost all the time. One time, she took a call and out of curiosity, I eavesdropped."

"Cathy, you know eavesdropping is a violation of privacy, right?" Chapman asks.

I nodded and continued talking. "I know but this is not just any ordinary phone call conversation, Chap." I sat on one of the chairs in front of him. "Allison is giving out information about Shawn. But not only him, she's given information about the squad as well."

Chapman's expression turned very serious when he heard the last sentence. I eavesdropped her conversation but Allison gave out our information without us knowing. Yeah, talk about invasion of privacy.

"But that is not the worst thing I found out," I leaned a little causing Chapman to do it also. "the one who is on the other side of call is the F-B-I."

Silence. I was waiting for Chapman's reaction but for a whole minute, he sat there in front of me with crossed fingers that laid on his table. Finally, he moved. He leaned back on his swivel chair and rests his arms.

"Cathy," he leans on the table again and entwined his fingers. "I wanna show you something. Give me a second." He turns to his computer and started typing and clicking. Then, he turns the screen to me.

The screen showed the profile of Allison. Her full name, her birthday, where she lives were the first things I read but didn't paid much attention too.

"What do you want to show me?" I asked, confused.

"See her family picture?" Chapman asks. I nodded and looked at it. Hmm, that's the first full family picture of Allison I saw.

"Are any of those faces ring a bell?"

I carefully scanned through the picture. Her mom looks like an ordinary housewife but her dad was something. "Why do I think that her dad is an important face?"

"Cathy," Chapman started. "the thing is, I already know that Allison is working with the FBI." He told me, making me taken aback.

"Wha-ha-how?"

Chapman pursed his lips and shook his head slightly. "I also heard her talking on the phone with the head of the FBI. And guess who's the head?" he asks.

"Who?" I quickly asked, eager to find answers.

"It's her father, Cathy." He answered, making me more surprised. My eyes grew wide and my jaw dropped. No fucking way.

"All this time you knew then?"

"Just this last mission. She was acting differently before but because of this new information you told me, it became clearer."

"What became clearer?"

"Her actions, the lies she often tells, why her phone never left her hand." Hmm, yeah. Allison's a really bad liar.

"But why didn't you tell us, the rest of the squad?"

"Allison holds the technology on our missions. She got ways to know information she doesn't know about. She is the tech controller here." Chapman paused and furrowed his eyebrows at me. "You don't have your phone right now, do you?"

I touched my pockets and didn't felt any phone in there. "No, why?"

"She might be hacking into our devices anytime so it makes keeping secrets harder."

Wait, hacking into our devices anytime?! Crap, I hope she didn't hacked into my laptop yet.

"And her secret, if she finds out we know it, Squad K... has reached its end."

There was a long pause after that. I was thinking about all the things Allison might know about me with all her hacking and what happens if she does find out what we know about her. Chapman was silent and thinking deep as well.

"So... do you got backup plans?" I asked him.

"Cathy," he smiles. "I always have backup plans." He says and proceeds to tell me the plan he has about keeping Allison's nasty little secret.
