Chapter 8

Cain's POV.

Ugh why did I agree to take them to the skate park today? I must love torcher. I get out of bed and take a shower. After my shower and get dressed I go wake up Vance and Jace. Mac is staying here. Why? I don't know. Probably because he's smart and doesn't want to be around a bunch of screaming kids today. I don't blame him. I wouldn't either but. So here I am waiting for everyone to get ready. Once they get downstairs we take off. Three cars because everyone decided they wanted to go. We pick up Matt and of course I see Liam getting in his car. He's pulling out as we're pulling in. Seth runs up to get Matt then we leave and I take them all to breakfast. Yeah that was fun. After our breakfast we go to the skate park and they all jump out of the car going different directions. Matt's friends are meeting him here which is a good thing. Less kids for me to deal with. My poor little sister though the only girl with a bunch of guys. Vince was nice enough to include her of course. He's trying to teach how to skateboard. Comical actually. Every time she fell he would quickly make sure he was there to take the impacted. Poor boy is going to be bruised tomorrow. I don't do the whole skateboarding thing. It's not my thing. I could never get into it. All I know how to do is go forward. That's it. So me, Vance and Jace just raced to see who was the fastest. I wasn't paying attention because I was to busy laughing at Vance who just landed on his back with an oomph but I just kept going.

"Watch out!" I heard someone scream. Then I collided with something. I landed up on top of it hearing a grunt. I look down and I'm on top of some hot guy.

"Shit sorry man." I say getting off of him. I hear laughter in the back ground. I turn around and see Vance still on his back laughing away. Jace trying hard to hold it in and everyone else fake coughing trying not to laugh. "Yeah laugh it up guys." I say shaking my head. I stick my hand out for the guy to take.

"Thanks." he says taking it. I help him up.

"No problem my fault. Sorry again." I say.

"No problem Jake." he says introduces himself.

"Cain." I say and noticed he still has my hand. We shake anyway. The conversation went from there. He flirted and I think I flirted back. Couldn't be sure though I never flirted with a guy before. Hey just because I'm gay doesn't mean I have experience in the men department. I've only been with girls. As we are sitting there talking and laughing with Vance and Jace a nice ass yellow dodge ram pulls up with a bunch of kids in the back. Guess who steps out? Yep Liam and let me tell you he looks good. Tight fitted white t shirt on with khaki shorts, nikes, sunglasses. Yeah he looks good. I gulp pulling my eyes away from him as he turns to look at me. The kids that he is with are already running up to Matt. A few girls around Savannah's age step out of the back. She's not going to like them. She's the quiet type and they look like they are populars in training. But one. She's off in the back standing quietly. I bet you a hundred bucks that's the one Savannah will gravitate to. Matt introduces her to them and they start talking. One I could tell Savannah was not going to like. I think she might be the queen bee in training. She kept flipping her hair putting her hands on her hips strutting her stuff like she was it. I rolled my eyes. Not long later the girls but Savannah and the other quiet one made a mad dash for the boys. Yep sluts in training. Savannah and the other girl sat there and talked. I knew she'd be the one Savannah went to. I might not have seen them in two years but she's still the same quiet little girl.

"Date tonight?" Jake blurts out. I stared at him in shock.

"Uh." I say scratching the back of my neck. I've never been out with a guy before and I don't know if I want to now. I uh have a mate after all even if I don't want to be with him. I know I'm all kinds of messed up. Plus this guy is human. Do I really want to go out with a human?

"If you don't that's cool but..." he trails off. I look over at Liam just in time to see another girl hanging off of him. "Boyfriend?" Jake ask. I look back at him confused.

"Who?" I stupidly ask.

"Him. Is that your boyfriend?"

"What? No!" I say shaking my head. "And yes."

"Huh?" he says confused. I roll my eyes.

"Yes I'll go out on a date." I say laughing a little.

"Great." he chirps. He reaches in his pocket handing me his phone so I can put my number in. I put it in then hand it back to him. "I'll call you later and let you know what time." he tells me standing up. I just nod an okay. "I'll see you later." he says winking at me. I nod again.

"Later." I say as he walks away. I'm not sure if I really want to do this this.

"So you got a hot date tonight?" Vance yells. I look up at him glaring but I nod.

"Your gay?!" Seth yells shocked. Shit. What a way to come out.

"Uh....surprise." I say rubbing the back of my neck nervously. Thanks a lot Vance. I think glaring at him. He just shrugs. I was going to tell them but not this way. They all look at me shocked for a few minutes. I'm waiting for someone to say something.

"So I have two gay brothers?" Savannah ask slowly.

"Yeah." I say slowly. Well let's just say they shrugged and went back to skateboarding.
