Chapter 18

Liam's POV.

Holy shit he's beautiful. Pitch black, bigger than I am. Hell he's bigger than dad is. I stood there stunned. I stood there for no telling how long. I watch as Cain just stood over Weston snarling and then I guess he got bored and ripped his throat out. It wasn't until I got knocked down that I came out of it. I looked up and saw a wolf snarling and snapping at me. I quickly kicked him off of me and shifted while he was flying towards the tree. I stood up as he stood up and we lunged for each other. He bite my shoulder I bite his hind leg. He let go whining. I turned around and we lunged at each other again. This time I aimed for his neck and got him. I pinned him down to the ground and ripped it out. This isn't much of a fight because when I was done half of the wolves were already on there stomachs submitting. The other half was getting there asses kicked or throats ripped out. All I could do was sit back and watch. Hell half of my pack were doing the exact same thing. So I did. I'd scan around to see if anyone needed help but nope they were doing just fine on there own. Until I saw one wolf stand up and start running towards Cain. Who's fighting another wolf. I stood up running towards her. I head butted her just as she was about to head butt Cain. I lung for her but she doesn't make a move to escape. I land on top of her and she shifts back to human form.

"Please no." she cries. "That's my son he's only sixteen he is only doing what he was ordered to do. We don't want to be here. Please stop him. Please." she begs me sobbing. I snarl at her. "Please help him." she cries. I felt sorry for the lady. So I nod stepping off of her. She cries as I run to Cain. I shift quickly as I run to him. Damn this would be so much easier if I could mind link with him.

"Cain!" I yell. His head snaps to me. "Stop." I order. I know it won't work on him. He shakes his big beautiful head no. "He's only sixteen and doesn't want to be here." I tell him just as the boy lunges for him again. Cain saw it coming but stays where he's at and latches on to his throat as the boy tries to I guess land on top of him. Cain pins him down but keeping him in is grasp. The assume mother comes up crying.

"Please don't. Please!" she begs Cain getting on her knees next to him. "Adam shift. Alpha Redford is dead. Please Adam stop he's dead." she cries. Adam pants whimpering but does as he's told. Cain lets go stepping back. "Thank you." she cries the lunges at Cain giving him a hug. He just stands there letting her do it. I stand back and snicker. I see him roll his wolfy eyes which our the same color as his. Meaning he has wolf under control. I turn around to see if anyone else needs help. But see its over. I roll my eyes.

"I got out of bed for this." I mutter walking to a tree that I'm pretty sure has clothes in it. We stash clothes everywhere around here. When I get there I pull out all the clothes stashed pull on a pair of shorts and start walking around throwing a pair to everyone. As I do I pull more out from trees as I go along until everyone has a pair.

"Man I was looking forward to a good fight." Cam grunts.

"Me and you both. I only got to kill one stupid wolf." I think his name is Josh huffs.

"Better luck next time pup." Cain says slapping him on the shoulder. Josh playfully growls lightly pushing him. Cain laughs as dad comes over to us.

"Thanks Cain." dad says.

"For what? There wasn't nothing to do." Cain says.

"You have a few new members to add to your pack." dad informs him.

"Nu uh no way." Cain says shaking his head.

"You killed there alpha." dad tell him.

"No you keep them. I'm just fine with my small pack of trouble makers." Cain says backing away.

"Cain." dad warningly. Cain turns on his heels and starts running.

"Nope have fun Mr big shot alpha." he yells over his shoulder running towards the house. Literally running. I couldn't help the chuckle that escaped my lips.

"Sorry man but Cain won't let anyone else in unless it's family or a mate." Vance tells dad then runs off following Cain.

"And they ain't family." Jace says following them.

"Or mate." Mac says following them.

"Uh yeah I'm with them." Josh says nervously. Then high tells it out of here. The rest of Cain's pack follows. I laughed. I couldn't help it.

"Chicken shit!" dad yells laughing.

"Looks like your screwed dad." I laugh out. Dad cocks an eyebrow.

"Who's screwed?" dad says. I stop laughing. Fuck me. I'm screwed.

"Oh come on dad I have months away from being alpha." I whine. Dad laughs and starts walking away.

"Get busy my favorite son." he snickers. I groan walking up to all the submitted wolves. I stop in front of them.

"Your alpha is dead. You got three choices. Fight me, walk away or join my pack. Your choice!" I growl at them. No one moves they all stay submitted. I nod. "Very well follow me!" I order. 'mom can you get some clothes together? There's women here too'

'uh son I'm not at home' crap I forgot she went to Cain's.

'right I forgot' I tell her. I keep walking to the house. "Tommy, Cam help me gather some clothes." I say to them once we reach the house. They nod running inside. "I'll be back with you some clothes." I tell the other pack. I run inside gathering some clothes from our stock pile on the basement. These are extra clothes everyone grew out of or didn't want. In case of things like this. We run back out handing out clothes. We get then situated for the night. I'll deal with everything tomorrow.
