Chapter 22

Cain's POV.

Yeah I know I'm stupid for forgiving him. But he is my mate and I do love him. It was kinda my fault too. If I had just claimed him, mated or even told people we were together none of the miss understandings would have happen. Maybe even let him explain Tori's scent all over him but no I jumped to conclusions.

I hear him groan and snuggle closer to me.

"You plan on waking up today?" I whisper in his ear.

"No." he mumbles.

"You got school." I remind him. He rolls over wrapping an arm around my waist and burying his face in my neck.

"So." he mumbles.

"Slacker." I chuckle. He hums tiredly. Oh hell it would be nice to ditch a day. So I closed my eyes going back to sleep.

I woke up to Liam kissing, nibbling and licking my neck causing me to groan.

"About time." he mumbles against my neck. I hum loving the feel of him lips against my neck. He sighs pulling away. "You know we need to talk?" he says.

"Yeah." I sigh dreading this talk. Now that we're fully mated its inevitable.

"So." he knows it too.

"Liam I love you I really do but I can't just ask my pack to give in and join yours. We're family here." I tell him honestly.

"So what do you suggest?" he ask me hurt.

"I'll ask them but if they say no I'm sticking with them. I love my little pack. I can't just walk out in them." I tell him. He sighs rolling over on his back. I know this upsets him but I can't do it. They are my family.

"I know and I'm not asking you too. But Cain you know we can't live without each other now." he informs me rolling on top of me.

"I know well figure something out." I tell him running my hand down his back. I hope we will anyway. I know he can't leave his pack and I'm not asking him to do it either.

"I have an idea." he chirps smiling.

"And what would that be?"

"Well I can't leave my pack and you can't leave yours but yours will get bigger right?" he ask me.

"Hopefully not but yeah." I answer knowing it will. One of these days everyone will be mated and with kids.

"Well why don't we get a house closer to my pack house so that way you'll have more room and I can closer to my pack." he says. I think about it. That doesn't sound bad at all. A really good idea to me idea to me.

"I can't afford that though." I tell him honestly.

"Cain I'm rich." he says rolling his eyes.

"What am I now your bitch?" I joke.

"Cain." he groans. "I'm being serious here. I can buy the house."

"I don't think so."

"Alright fine." he huffs. "Look for a house, sell this house and what's left I'll pay the difference since I'll be living there too." that doesn't sound to bad. I just can't let him pay for it all though.

"Alright let me talk to my pack first and if they don't want to join your pack we'll do that."

"Good." he says giving me a kiss. We stay in bed talking, joking, laughing, cuddling, watching tv until its almost time for the guys to come home. We jump in shower then go downstairs just as they get home. I have them all gather in living room. We sit down all spread around the living room.

"No." Vance says before I say anything. I nod. They know what happen.

"Alright well how do you feel about moving?" I ask.

"I said no Cain were not joining that pack." Vance growls at me. I cock an eyebrow.

"I know I didn't ask that now did I? I asked how do you feel about moving?"

"To where?"

"Bigger house." I answer.

"What's wrong with this one?" Jace ask.

"Face it's this pack is going to get bigger. Most of you guys still have to find your mates or eventually mate someone else." I say. They nod. "Well we are going to need a bigger house when that happens guys." they nod again.

"But we don't have to join Liam's pack?" Jake ask.

"No we just need to move closer to his." I tell them honestly.

"You know my family has plenty of land. We could just build a house somewhere on it and you guys would have more running room." Liam says out of the blue. He has a point.

"But.." Mac starts but stops himself and loses himself in thought.

"But what?" Vance says.

"Nothing." he says shaking his head. "It sounds like a good idea." Mac says. Everyone thinks and talks about while I go in a start dinner. When dinner was done we all gather into the kitchen and talk about the situation. Some wanted to build on Liam's land because there's more room to run. Some did not. So we landed up voting on it. Building on Liam's land won. I didn't vote. I'm the alpha after all. I just got the final say. Since the build won I went along with it. As long as it was away from Liam's pack house and he said he had the perfect spot. It didn't sound half bad. We get more running room. It's not like our pack weren't going to land up mingling together anyway. Its not like living on his property will force us together. In my opinion it's bound to bring us together anyway having two alphas. It's bound to happen but we will still be two separate packs. We'll just live closer together. And I was fine with it. Now all we have to do is get our pack to get along. I know it's not going to be easy since most of us have hated each other for so long. Hell who knows they just might find mates among each other. Matt and Seth decided right on the spot that they would belong to both packs. Me and Liam agreed. It didn't sound unreasonable. Seth want to belong to his brothers pack and same for Matt. He grew up in that pack. We both understood. And since they belong to both packs and they could communicate with each other it really won't change anything.
