Chapter 15

Cain's POV.

It's been a week since he showed up at me doorstep. I wanted to chase after him and tell him it was the other way around. That I was using Weston for information but I didn't. I also wanted him to finish what he was saying. I caught the part where he said he didn't screw her and where he said he loves me. Call me stupid but I believed him. I wanted him to explain everything to me but stupid ass Weston popped up. Yeah I was pretending to date him if thats what you want to call it, to get him to tell me his plan. He never did until today. Trust me it wasn't fun for me. I wouldn't go out on a date with him, I wouldn't kiss him. Hell I wouldn't even let him hold my damn hand. It felt dirty. I felt dirty. He only got away with doing that in front of Liam because I was in shock. He just told me he loved me. Would you be in shock? I stayed that way until Vance pulled me away from the door. I had to ask Vance if he really said that to me. Vance sighed and said yes. That's when reality hit me. Everything he just said Weston said. Everything. And now he hasn't been at school all week. He's doing what I did to him. Not answer any of his texted, calls or voice messages.

"Go Cain. Go get your man back." Vance says pulling me out of my train of thought. I've been sitting in the same spot all day today since Weston left just staring off in space. Not really paying attention to whats going on around me. It's Saturday again and everyone went off to do something.

"Your man?" Jace ask confused. "I didn't know you had one." he says hurt. I gulp.

"Uh yeah. Liam." I say.

"Liam!" he yells at me. I nod.

"Yeah he's my mate." I tell him honestly.

"How long have you fucking known?!" he growls at me. If I didn't understand the moment I'd get up and slap him. I usually told them everything.

"Since my brother and sister arrived."

"You've been keeping it a secert this whole time?!" he continues to growl at me.

"No well yeah at first I was in denial then I just didn't want him then I don't know something happen I guess we decided not to fight it anymore." I tell him honestly. Then Vance goes on to tell him the rest of the story. How he figured it out, how me and Liam kept it quiet to get use to the idea, how I was using Weston, how Liam found out about Weston. We all talked about for a little while then they both convinced me to go tell him the truth since I needed to tell Charlie anyway. So I got up and left. I jumped in my car and headed to Liam's house. I knocked on the door and Matt answered.

"Hey Liam what brings you here?"

"I need to talk to your dad and Liam." I tell him. He nods letting me in.

"Liam's room is on the second floor fourth door on the right. You know where dads office is." he tells me. I nod heading up the stairs. I go to Liam's room first. I needed to talk to him now.

"We..." I started but stopped. I didn't knock I just walked in not expecting the sight I saw before me. "And here you say I moved on fast..." I stopped again sniffing the air. And I fume. "YOU CLAIMED HIM?!" I roar.

"So what?" he says shrugging. I stalk towards him and punch him in face. Grab him by the shoulder lift him up and slam him to the wall. Yeah both me and my wolf were pissed.

"Stand up." I tell the guy. He doesn't. "STAND UP!" I boom. He jumps out of bed scared. Good. "Cover yourself stupid!" I growl as Liam struggles to get out of my hold. The guys does. "Now turn around." I say thru gritted teeth. He does and there's nothing. About that time two or three people I'm not sure because I'm seeing red. Anyway they pull me off of Liam. I struggle against him but stop. I look Liam dead in the eyes at that moment I didn't even want to get lost in them like I usually do. "You might as well finishing mating him because whatever was between us. Mates or not. It's now over. Not only did you fuck around on me but you claimed some idiot. Goodbye Liam." I say calmly. Then I jerk myself away from the guys. I turn around and see Matt, Seth, Charlie, Cam, Tommy and a few other people I didn't know. "You wanted information. I got you information. They attack you in two weeks west side midnight." I say then push my way thru the people. I didn't look back I just calmly left. I walk out of the house with Seth on my heels. We got on my car and left. Nothing said. I didn't cry, I didn't do anything. I got home went to the kitchen made me something to eat sat down starting eating.

"Bro you okay?" Seth ask quietly breaking the silence.

"Fine." I say in between bites. He sighs heavily shaking his head.

"No your not." he informs me.

"What happen?" Vance ask.

"Cain caught him in bed with some guy. Claimed." Seth tell him.

"Cain?" Jace says. I just shrug and look up. I roll my eyes once I see the pity and concern in there eyes.

"I'm fine guys really. Let's go do something." I say stuffing my face. They just nod an okay going to what I assume is get ready. When I'm done I go get ready then meet them downstairs. We leave going to the small arcade we have here in town. We play for a couple of hours until it closes then we go home. Unfortunately when we got there Liam's car was in the driveway and it looked like he was asleep. I told the guys to be quiet getting out and to leave him there.
