SEMAJPOV:

Waking to a knock at the door I turned to see Nana still sleep and Prince sleep between us. I got up to go see who was at the door. When I got down stairs I seen my cousin Marco at the door.

Marco was the only cousin I was close with. Well at the moment we aren't speaking so it was odd for him to be at my door. When I opened the door he stood there with a grey Nike sweat suit on blowing smoke in the air.
"What you doing here?" I asked standing on the doorway.
"I came to talk to you ." Marco replied.
"About What? I ain't got shit to say to you."
"Semaj come on, just hear me out."
"Fine come in."

We sat down in the living room in silence before either of us spoke. Marco and I used to be two peas in a pot but Marco ended up crossing me and after that we never spoke. It had been five years since we've even been in the same room.

"Look Semaj your mother and I was out having lunch with my girlfriemd and she told me about you going against family. So she sent me to see what is going on with you. She seemed worried. Plus it's time we put this beef behind us and be one again. You know how we used to have these streets on lock just us two holding shit down don't tell me you don't miss that." Marco explained.

"I don't miss it. And mom is just saying that because she is having problems with my girlfriend but I will always be here for family unlike you ."
"What you mean I'm about family too."
"You know you don't so stop it."

"Semaj when are you just gonna let it go?"
"Never because my blood doesn't do shit like that. My own family wouldn't have plotted against me for his own greed. My blood wouldn't do shit like that. But you did that's why I will never forgive you for it."

Just in the middle of our conversation Nana came down stairs with Prince in her arms. She stopped to take a good look at Marco. Then handed me my phone.
"Good morning Baby girl. This is Marco my cousin." I said gripping her by he waist pulling her to me with Prince laying on her chest .

"Good morning Daddy , and Hello it's nice to meet you too."" Nana said turning to face Marco amd then taking a a seat next me too.

"Hello." Marco said in a flirting tone.
"What's wrong with my man's?" Iasked referring to Prince
"He is running a fever?"

looked down at Prince and he laid there on Nana's chest looking in pain and sick I picked him up then I kissed him on the forehead.

"Look man I want you to go take care of your son and we can finish talking later." Marco said leaving out.

I looked at Nana then began walking upstairs to get Prince and myself ready to go to the hospital. Nana followed.
"What was he doing here?" Nana asked.
"He came to talk?"
"Why didn't you tell me about him?"
"Nana, not right now."

Nana didn't say anything. She just began to get ready as well. Once we all were dressed we drove to the hospital. I turned to see Nana asked.
"Baby girl I didn't mean to yell at you like that." I said.
"Its fine."
"No it's no, okay ? Me and Marco used to be close but he and I had a bad fallout and we haven't spoken since." I explained.
"All I'm saying is be careful he already rubs me the wrong way."

I knew Nana just wanted the best for me and she wanted to keep me safe but Marco was my blood and I missed having him by my side.

When we arrived at the hospital we waited for like two hours for them to actually see Prince finally when we did I got a call from Maniac.
"Wassup bro?" I answered.
"Wassup where you at?"
"The hospital with Nana and Prince. Prince got a fever."
"Damn well some shit just went down and you not gonna like it. Ty and Baby just got into it with some of the little niggas on the block. Ty was coming crazy about you while you wasnt around. "
"Damn my nigga I'm with Prince right now don't tell me no shit about them clown ass niggas."
"Look you stay with Prince and we will deal with them niggas later I'm about to go see Tanya."
"Okay I'll just hit your phone."
"Alright bro."

After leaving yhe hospital drove home. Whne we got in the house I laid sleeping Prince down in his bed in his room then I went to lay down with Nana in the bedroom.

"Baby you Okay?" I asked noticing her beimg more to herself.
"Yea-" nana jumped up and ran into the bathroom to the toliet. She was throwing up continuously. I laid there in disbelief.

When Nana was finished she brushed her teeth then she came back to lay down with me.

"Somebody's pregnant." I laughed.
"I'm not pregnant stupid."
"Prove it."
"Semaj just leave me alone. I don't feel good."

"Well I'mm about Prince medication I'll be back." I said walking out the room.
